You know what mate I’m a Celtic fan and I’ve said it for ages now. No disrespect but Rangers core are bottlers. All my pals that are Rangers fans deny it and have their heads in the sand. So I applaud you for not being a delusional supporter, you usually have a decent honest take on things. Remember though mate the league isn’t over, anything can happen, it’s not done yet.

The lack of a capable striker in Dessers (that everyone could see) and the failure to get Shankland have lost us the league. £60 million gone, and we now face the possibility of falling significantly behind
What's even more of a kick in the bollocks, is that we've lost the 2nd champions league place. All the hard work in Europe to climb the coefficient rankings, gift the free Champions League place to Celtic every season and now we've lost that automatic group stage place from 2025/26 so even if we win the league next season, there STILL might not be CL football...

We are already miles behind and the gap will be even bigger at the end of next season. I would say we would need to spend £ 30 million just to challenge Celtic because ever position needs replaced. Our current squad is composed of two types of players. Those who are too old and been at the club for too long and those who were no where near good enough to begin with. The money needed is not available so in effect the league will not even be a contest for years to come merely how long into the season before the annual Rangers collapse begins.
I don’t believe Shankland would do shit in that team. Unless Shankland is gonna defend, creat chances for us and all the rest of it, it’s too simple a fix for a team that is complete garbage.

The usual suspects. we need to reflect on who have been in the team for the past few years and the lack of cups. Goldson is SHITE.. long ball pass to the opposition and can only score a header as an OG. Lun was playing for a contract and now reverts back to his jogging self. Tav is a goal machine however never, never a fkn defender. And he's jogging back. In fact a few joggers in the team with no fight. A complete clear out of the serial losers is needed however sadly nailed with high contracts who are happy to coin it. We should give the youth a chance.
As a Celtic supporter I'd agree with you on the youth chance at least you'll get maximum effort from those guys

Hi CJ, so I'll start with this; going on the last 3 performances I'm struggling to see us winning another game this season... If I'm a hearts player/fan I would be licking my lips at the prospect of the game on Sunday.
I said previously that we have a team of cowards, serial losers and bottle merchants. The crash of the bottle was so loud last night it could be heard in Glasgow.
So on the players I'll start with Taverneir & Goldson; look at the amount of goals we have conceded, the vast majority of which comes down our righthand side. Taverneir's primary role is defender and yet I see better defending from 16 year old boys playing Sunday League football. His secondary role is captain and though some won't like it, he's not a captain. For too long people like me have been told to "shut up" when criticising Tav with the "look at the goals he scores and his assists" and "If it wasn't for his goals where would we be?", well whilst he might be the highest scorer in truth that wouldn't be hard in our team right now. If we had a striker worthy of the title then this title race could well have been over by now. Tav is meant to lead be example but if his example is what we've seen in just the last 3 games alone, then is it any wonder why we have, ONCE AGAIN, bottled it?
Goldson, well I think the word you used CJ, "horrific" sums him up perfectly. I was begging for those 2 to be put on the bench last night but with injuries that wasn't possible. We need 2, possibly 3 centre backs, we need a right back (we had one and likely a future Rangers captain, but the BOARD sold him to Everton), we need another left back, we need a few midfielders because too many of the ones we have are SHIT.
I agree with you on Lawrence, the lad is a great player but this last 6 weeks he has been rank rotten.
We need some decent forwards and we DESPERATELY need 2 strikers. If we are only going to play with 1 striker then he needs backup. I'll say this again, I don't think that Shankland is the final answer but had we got him in January then the lad would likely be heading for 20 goals for us already.
The manager and players can ask for the fans to back them and we will BUT they have got to give us something that makes us believe that with our backing they will triumph but they have given us ZERO, certainly in the last 2 games.
I, like you, believe that Clement is still the man for the job but he must also take his fair share of the criticism. Playing Wright against them was a humongous error as was playing barasic against County. Having said that, what he has achieved with that squad of players is nothing short of miraculous. He wasn't to know though that when the pressure comes his players collapse. It has been happening for what, the last 3 seasons and ergo we must look at the common denominators over those last 3 seasons and for that we need look no further than Taverneir and Goldson.
Sorry but that's just the way I see it.
Keep up the great work CJ because regardless of our results at least we have you to look forward to for your honest opinions and insights.

Well said CJ, somethings been missing in this rangers teams mentality for a long time. You can see it in 9/10 of the old firm games over the past two years, but I at least expected us to be swiping away teams like ross county and Dundee in a TITLE RUN IN. We‘ve got no bottle, can bring in whoever we want this summer, but we’ve got to turn a team of serial losers into serial winners.
How many managers and coaching staff do we need to change before we realize the culture around the dressing room needs to change
@@cjnovo992Thats the million dollar question. I think Big Phil’s the man but there’s too many of these players who’ve failed to prove themselves - I’m sick to the back teeth of nearly the entire squad needing revamped almost every season but looks like we’ve reached that point once again.
It is clear to see that most these players see the SPFL as just a stepping stone.
They have no respect for the club and league.
They will turn up for Europe most games but not against the diddy teams in Scotland.
The manager has given everyone bar the long-term injured a chance to show themselves and we get maybe 1 game from them then they dissappear.
I would not want Clementes job right now. No manager in the world can do more with this squad of players.
We have let go of every player who has ever put in 100% effort every game for the club and the next will be Sterling. He tries every game but he will get fed up eventually and realise he just needs to put in 50-60% effort domestically and still get games.

If anyone was confident going in to the game after the Ross County game they were deluded. Its been the same Beale ball flat feeling watching Rangers since the Motherwell game.
Tav is crap defensively he is costing us as badly as Goldson does. The same players are making fools of the support and different managers. We put our faith in and they go through the motions, picking up a wage, coming out with the same crap. Its the same guys making the same errors for the biggest chunk of a decade. The core is rotten. Remove the rot. The difference between us and Celtic is their lads work hard and fight every game. Our lads don't, they are lazy and don't have enough urgency to start games or hard work. Based on that they deserve thier title. Our old guard and beale signings, except Butland fill the fans and managers ears with the right words. They are all talk. The talk especially form Tav and Goldson is boring. I don't imagine them inspiring anyone around them. Their interviews send me to sleep. Never in my life have I felt that about any Rangers captain. Tav hides behind taking all the set pieces and pens and his stats. His first job is defend and he has never been great at that. Lawrence has been pish as well you are right, so has Silva, Borna, Wright, Lundstram, Goldson, Dessers and Tav. Those are the worst offenders.

You owe no one an apology for being negative. You have the best and most honest Rangers channel out there. I've followed Rangers for over 50 years and your channel when you only had hundreds of followers. The apologies should be from the 40 grans a week players who can't stand tall in a wall letting the team down, can't even make a telling cross in from corners, don't run back to defend and blame their fellow colleagues after they send a high ball pass to no-one . I believe in PC and hope that if he can get HIS team then we will progress but it's a big ask. We have to remember how bad the team was before he came in. As a supporter I still have to feel that we can win the league, that's what supporter do. Credit where it’s due Phil has worked with absolutely nothing since he came in , left with the mess the BOARD put us in with Beale , they bottled any backing in January and it took the gaffer to come out and say what we got came from the summer budget ? Cortes and a loan ? The board are to blame for lacklustre financial management and leaving the team decimated with shite , the money we spent on Danilo and Dessers we won’t even make 10% of that back , there’s still too many duds running our club into the ground , board out !!!
They banked fully on Beale in the summer and gios summer prior to that and results did not come. PC is suffering the consequences of both of those managers appointments and we need to hope he gets the backing in the summer. Winter window is always shite nowadays and prices are inflated
Also that boards decision ultimately to let Kent and Morelos leave for free , they sold Gios best players and gave him nothing anywhere near close to what he lost , they turned their back on gio and had Beale in the stands before they sacked him , board are 100% to blame for this and its more than a summers worth of recovering a full rebuild is needed
Beale actually has a better points record than Clement it only took the other teams 12 games to work out his tactics and how to beat his sides they know now and he doesn't have the money for a total rebuild

I couldnt agree more with you on player selection and tactics, " we will learn from this" etc , with 5 games left is not the time to be learning from this , whatever this may be .
Celtic haven't had to seek our troubles this season weve fielded over 25 different starting xi's and suffered some dropped points disappointingly, whats stunned me is rangers have failed to grasp the initiative when its been presented practically on a plate. I feel Clement hasnt fielded his best xi too often and when the race is as close as this you simply have to bite the bullet , fall out or not these players are contracted to the club as professionals so whether or not the manager is unhappy with something or the players are , if the only option left after all others have been exhausted then field your emoyees, God knows they're paid well enough for it and if they fail to turn up hook them quickly.
Rodgers isnt afraid to do this because he knows hes no option and puts the club first, he has the board to thank for that , whether or not Clement is the same i honestly dont know but we've had guys whove let us down badly but if they're the only option then they will be selected because theyre paid very well not to sit on a bench , not to produce for Rodgers but to produce for Celtic and they will do that to the best of their ability.
Much is made of Celtic's winning mentality but the facts are so many are project players and mixed with experienced winners will get the job done.
I was over the moon naturally with the draw recently at ibrox and the performance without our captain and many newcomers once again in at the deep end first time at ibrox no fans but we showed that heart and steely determinatation it felt like we knew we would not lose that game which was a great game to watch and one i felt we shouldve had wrapped up by ht but for the heroics of Butland we probably would have.
For whatever reason rangers are not playing to their strengths , are not playing the right players in the right positions even though you probably have more players whove been at the club longer than perhaps we do.
The title race is far from over but the run of form you spoke of is woeful for a club like rangers too many passengers while we are looking to make things happen and not waiting for opportunities to present themselves. I cannot believe we blew an 8pt lead , you needed only to beat ross county and dundee to go 2 pts clear leaving us under severe pressure to go win every game yet we sit 3pts clear and +5 gd , but that day at ibrox we regained our self belief and it appeared that rangers lost theirs , celebrating a draw at home from 2nil down was slightly ott if very understandable but that was the opportunity to lay a marker, only half a marker was laid then all momentum was lost. Even worse in dingwall and dundee it was as if you could see the belief had gone and celtic took the initiative that day.
I hope im not offending any of your followers im just saying it as i saw it like yourself, you have the players but wont utilise them but will continue to pay them for their contract.
Thats unacceptable, Ange cleared out an entire squad of such players in 2 windows because even though they may not have got on or liked one another those players were contracted to provide for Celtic, not Ange , Celtic , and if they didn't they were out , for Clement to be successful he must be equally ruthless when he wants what is best for rangers because at the end of the day the club comes first always and there is no room for egos not at any of our two club's

Lawrence totally agree.. non existent, not involved in the game enough, as a midfielder I would like to know the stats for touches on the ball….Cantwell at least tries to make things happen with no out ball around him …Wee Raskin is a player, a wee terrier who can force the game, win balls…. Silva, well me personally have seen enough, not good enough… we again looked lethargic, non responsive and basically off… has this got anything to do with training preparation??? There doesn’t appear to be any cohesion between midfield and the front players. Losing Cortes and Yilmaz has been big, but, still spending so much to loan Silva and not buy a goalscorer has been key.The managers reliance on tinkering for tinkerings sake and his formation which can never change. A no 10 should contribute and assist goals, that's not happening since Airfield left. Squad needs gutted, I would keep Balogun as a cheap back up, Yilmaz, Diomande, Sterling, Cortes and Sima, the rest can gtf and if that means Tav to Saudi and Butland to the EPL, so be it. When the entire support was screaming that we needed a number 9 way back in January, but we got patched as per. Said it back then; we stick way depressers we win nothing. If we have no potency in attack that will eventually filter throughout the team where they revert into themselves if there is no end product. We've seen it happen where players weren't even passing to him & the ones that were he just let the passes roll by him while standing smiling way his arms stretched wide or rolling about the deck after an opposition player casually farted on him.
Worst thing about it is the financial disparity between us and that rotten mob is now so far apart we are not going to touch them for at least another decade. The other half of those goals have dried up this season and his defensive displays cost us more goals than he scores now. He’s 33 soon and will only decline further… it seems to be impossible to even think about it for a lot of fans for some reason but it’s time to take the emotion out of it and let Tav go.

I listen to you from time to time with respect as a Celtic supporter. Generally I agree with your take on things & got to say. On the two pen incidents I’m with you again. No idea why both weren’t given. Why one handball is a pen and another isn’t I’ve no clue & the Dundee boy all over Sima was also for me a pen. There was another shout for Rangers too that I thought could have been given. Early in the game Sima was through on goal the Dundee boy pushed him in the back as Sima was in the act of shooting. Sure he got decent contact & the Dundee keeper made a decent save with his feet but without the push the finish may have been more clinical. To me that’s a pen & this is coming from a Celtic fan sickened by some of the soft pens given to Rangers & waived away for Celtic this season.
Aye we believed it could happen but when the real pressure was on the team collectively crumbled, we have got accept a rebuild is badly needed in the summer, questions asked about PC selections off late clutching at straw's I believe 🤷♂️, personally I've went from optimistic to the fear factor with each game 🙃
