- Spring is here and we are getting everything ready. Including The John Deere R4045 and Hagie STS12 Self-Propelled Sprayers. We also calibrate the liquid nitrogen on the Case IH 2150 planter, get the Kenworth W900L ready to pull the spray trailer.
We even make it to the field when FS sprays some burn down and The new Case IH 475 Speed Tiller works its first field of the spring being pulled by a Case IH 620 Quadtrac

BTO, HELL YEAH
Good luck in 2021!!
Working on a Farm like yours is Not a Job, its passion . Same like life your dream. Cant wait to See the next video😍 I would be proud to work on a farm like yours.🙏
Very fortunate
I’ve said for years that I’m not working, just living
You guys are the best CZcams farmers can't wait to see the new planters in action
Appreciate that
I agree completely!!! Your channel is a good example for channels like mine!
What drone do you use? Mavic air?
i love to see clean equipment . You guys have nice stuff
So much hotness in 1 video. Sea of red!
Lol
Great video Travis
Informative vid!
4020 looks awesome Reese
Man I love those old tractors! Hell, I farmed with them 20 years ago when I was just growing for my own on farm needs. This year and next year are a huge transition for us as far as acreage and infrastructure goes. It's starting to feel as though my 100 year plans for a multi generational agricultural enterprise are starting to gel up for us. That's why I enjoy your videos so much, the history, the generations. My kids are still pretty small, but my 13 year old daughter, 10 year old boy, and 9 year old girl are as good as any farm hand you'll ever get. The three smaller ones are still hanging on momma's shirt tails, which is to be expected.
Nice job, I appreciate all your efforts!
Sorry to hear that but that sounds like quite the crew. 6 kids?
@@iversfarms # 7 coming in May. Nothing to be sorry about.
Gorgeous 4020
Nice video as always :-)
I’ve literally started at episode one an binged watch them all up to this point. Love the content
Happy to hear that. Glad to give you some entertainment
Awesome drone footage Reese
great video you did another fine job of describing everything super job
Another Grade A video from the Ivers Clan!!!!! The weekly format gives us a good overall look of what the order of job task are to get a field ready for planting
Super travail du sol avec ce magnifique QUAD Trac 620👍👍👌
Great video Reese
I'm not the only one that loves the smell of freshly-tilled dirt, am I?! Nice vid
Can’t beat it
Hi Gentleman, just come across your videos, yea awesome Iam Alan from Tokoroa North Island New Zealand,
Looks great the speed tiller does a phenomenal job
Great looking 4020. Funny when you look at it next to a 620 quad and think... this little green bugger was the monster of its time. Hahahaha
Things sure have changed
Another great video. I enjoy seeing all the red equipment!
Great job speed tilling David
Your planters and tractor sets for 2021 look amazing! Wishing you a speedy and uneventful planting season. With gear like that it should be no problem!
Thanks for another great video from you guys. Kepp up the great work. greetings from a fan in Denmark
Enjoy your channel and all the Red power! Sweet looking W900L!
Great job on showing how to calibrate the liquid on the planter. Great paint job on 4020 looks like new.
I like the drone shots. Well done
Awesome video buddy nice to see some fieldwork
Another awesome video Reese!!
The enjoyment of doing tillage is satisfying.
As is the scent of freshly tilled dirt!!
Nice job on the 4020
reese great video well done
Yeah that 4020 is badass , we're planting sugar beets last week till the rain hit ,, great video
being out in those fields again must be really sweet
Good feeling
Greetings from Browns, IL. Love the 4020, grew up on green power. Stay safe and have a great planting season!
Just down thecroad
Great cat work Reese
The corn rig is sharp . Hope it treats you well .
Good content 👍. What no boss man this week 🤔🤔🤔. Is he slacking this week 🤔😁😁😁. Thanks for sharing your adventures, really good videos. 👍👍👍👍✌️
He was trucking most of the week and didn’t turn his camera on and we didn’t cross paths much
Being a cattle and hay farmer from eastern tennessee, I really enjoy watching the videos as that size of equipment and the acres of farm land is just plain awesome to see on video.
Thanks, I’d be interested to see how you operate
I look forward to each new video. Row crop farming has always been rather fascinating to me since we are a cow/calf operation. The farm has been in the family for 121 years and is 6 generations deep. I just recently started a CZcams channel for our farm.
@@longfarmsTn I’m going to check it out
Good deal and I hope you enjoy it.
that 4020, kinds of tractors on the farm when i left farm in 1970, dead elm tree fell on him in cattle yard....we had a 806, when was nice too.....i worked for a guy one summer that had a 4020, i can see why john deer sold so many....very nice tractors
dead elm tree feel on my dad
Those are some sweet classics
A lot going on in the spring, you make it look smooth but I am sure it’s organized chaos at times
Absolutely
The 4020, she is so sweet looking! I'm jealous. Lol
Nothing like a clean Deere. Awesome job.
Will be doing the same with my new 2150 this week or early next week, cant wait to get it home do some playing with it. They were finishing fertilizer part amd going to mount brackets for our conveyor and should be done
Good luck to ya
Dragging a line behind quad track and track planter, good luck.
Might be the safety chain you are seeing but I’ll check it out, thanks
I learned something new 😶
11k subs and rising!! Congrats
Отличная техника уважаю Case удобный 👍
What’s with the green sprayer??..it’s kind of an eye sore don’t you think??..lol
Whatever gets the job done
👍👍
We have like 850 acres over there in Owensboro KY most are ground is in Utica/Mclean
New Viewer .. Like the content !
Glad to have you
The 620 u parked next to thr boom truck had drivers brake light out
Also on the 380 if you angle the nozzle it will fill up instead of having to baby it.
I keep thinking I’m going to upgrade my field cultivator, by after seeing the job your speed tiller does I think I might take a hard look at one
Liking them so far. We could you give you a good opinion at the end of the spring
Ivers Farms please do
4020 is BEAUTIFUL. That speed tiller may be fast in the field but good grief you could eat your lunch waiting for it to lower down once you unfold it 😂
Yes it is slow, lot of weight tilting back
Not really that bad used to have to get out and unfold disk by had when they first got that big, and the first double 750 jd drills we had we would have to unhook and in the field hook to one then back up and
Didn’t get done anyway back up hook to other one then go in reverse when got where we were going, no don’t think waiting 30 seconds is all that bad LOL
That fuel tank on them case tractors are a pain in the ass and very frustrating it’s disappointing that they couldn’t of taken care of that the last few years
Yeah I was disappointed that they didn’t get that fixed
Side note you’ll need to redo your liquid cal with your starter fertilizer since it’s a different density and flows different
👍👍👍
🤙
💪💪
Hey Reese, good seeing ya. Was wondering how David like the 475 speed tiller? We used our Degelman 40' Pro Till to till up our 100 acres of oats last week. We're really happy with it!!👍 Keep working hard Ivers, planting is almost here!!🤗☺
It worked really good. I knew you liked your degelman. I would like to demo one of those
@@iversfarms Ours has rolling baskets on the back like yours. Most use the packers but we think the rolling baskets will do us better with our mostly clay soil.
Our 340 does the same thing when comes to filling up with fuel. It also plugs the air filter way too quick. Found a company called Hillco Technologies that make a different air intake with precleaner. We haven't used it yet, hope it works. It doesn't look like the the folks at Racine improved the way you get to that little step on the front left corner of the cab. When I try to make that step on our 340 it looks like a monkey f...... a football.
That’s interesting, I might have to check that out. I know the air filter alarm in the 620’s go off a lot
Great video again. Do you farm near L&R Rusch farms
Yes, we farm right next to each other in a few spots. Our home places are about 15 miles apart with them on the indiana side and us in Illinois
I found if I replaced one tire in a set of duals the new tire would have the same amount of tread as the old one in only two thousand miles or less.
We have a 69 4020 at home all original we've owned it since 71
Awesome, maybe the most iconic tractor of all time
@@iversfarms 69 was 1st year of hydralic levers in consuol beside the seat
@@iversfarmsFor me the IH 1206 was the most iconic of all time. Just wasn't produced for as many years. Love your new red machinery!
@@ronaldnagel6705 that’s fair, also a great one
Are those both high seed planters?
Great looking 4020, synchro or power shift?
Yes, power
I love youre shop... what finish you got on the floor?
It’s an epoxy clear coat
With so much of your filed work controlled by GPS and even planting rows predetermined by fall tillage will you ever use the markers on the planter? I'd like to see an aerial view of your buildings showing the layout and telling us which building is which. We see them all from inside and it's hard to see how there are that many buildings on the campus. Oh, and Reese, I sure do like to watch you work! LOL
I like to use them on the end rows, that’s it
For an aerial view, watch their video "episode 24 Farm Tour". Awesome footage that shows just what u requested!
that aerial farm video is great. Impressive drone-flying skills!!
I'm curious why two different styles of planters for beans and corn.
30” rows on corn and 15” beans do better than 30s where we are
Watching your vids kinda makes me laugh allot, I thought i was doing good being to last year upgrade from my 1964 IHC 434 with a 1947 14ft press ( with the steel wheels i didnt have to worry bout flats) upgraded to a 1986 Massy 1135 with a 28ft IHC press drill, then again i only just starting my 6th year of farming and I only farm 500 acres.
Everyone has to start somewhere
Reese have you all tried Pivot Bio's ProveN for your corn, if so did it work?
I haven’t but I am interested in it but won’t be using it this year. Everyone I talked to says it needs to be in furrow but I don’t have that on this planter at this time
Also the 4020 is sweet, reminds me of the days spent on my grandparents farm.
Beautiful shiny 4020 Jon Deere, what do you use this tractor for?
Mostly just use the PTO to run augers now a days
I'd put that 4020 away wouldn't want to get it dirty and did you used to farm with out all of those fancy components in that cab
Yeah, just keep getting more and more electronics to make it more precise
Yes neighbors use to come and plant his with GPS and planted 1 inch off last year planting
Reese do you guys plan on one pass with the Speed tiller and plant corn?
Yes unless it gets too weedy late and needs two passes
I’m trying to understand till/no till etc...That ground looked great before you ran that disc through it so my question is why? Looks like an expense, fuel , engine hours, labor.
Kill a few weeds, warms the soil up, bury some residue, level up a few tracks making it plant better and will be able to pull it faster
@@iversfarms See, that ground looked close to perfect and warming the soil would be the only reason I could see. But, I’m still trying to figure out why/when to use a plow, a disc or nothing at all except maybe something to breakup compaction. That would probably be a good video for us non farmers.
Why two very different tractors on identical planters? Is it just row spacing or does the bean planter require more hp as it appears to have way more seed units on it? Both awesome looking rigs btw.
Yes bean planter is much heavier with the extra rows
@@iversfarms well thanks. Kinda what I thought.
Did your 8R have a fridge? I know the new models do but didn't know about the older ones.
Yes it did
@@iversfarms I was shocked when you said the new Magnum didn't have one in the previous video. Especially since their two competitors have them.
@@brianpayne8931 yeah, you’d think think they would. Especially since they’ve had them in the combines for a few years
How are you going to use Deere guidance lines in the red tractor?
You can pull it off the green monitor or jd link to a thumb drive and upload it to mycaseih then use ads connect or that’s how we are doing it at least
From my experience you will have some drift because Case and Deere operate off of different center points of the earth.
4020 looks great, what year?
65 maybe? In there somewhere
Do you find your go pro 8 battery drains fast?
It does on time lapse
The 9 has a bigger battery
What’s the story of the 1 lane bridge? That would be rough to meet another truck. lol
I think that is an old railroad bridge.
@@jeffb9851 yeah, I agree. Is it public or on their farm ?
Public toll bridge by st. Francisville il
Worth checking out if you are ever in the area
@@iversfarms I would definitely like to check it out.
I have family in Evansville and drive there quite a bit but it looks like a good drive to see the bridge. Lol
I hear you mention Agri Power. I live in the same town. They are really good people. Deep rooted into farming. They did own a fertilizer business Agri - Chem for 60 plus years but they just sold it to the co op a few years ago.
@@davidoden yeah we are about an hour north of Evansville. Not sure if it’s worth the t unless you are closer.
HR recently bought out our local Case dealer JL. So far so good
That 475 speed tiller looks flimsy compared to a Degelman...
My garden soil is that dark without mulch.
What do you grow in it?
@@iversfarms sweet corn tomato green onion green beans watermelon green peppers carrots lettuce cabbage.
You dont have any sprayers?
Forget that i asked haha
😂
@@iversfarms do you like the new magnum? Considering trying some Case tractors out, looking to get rid of all ours JD.
Too soon to tell. I’ll be able to tell you more after the spring
You don’t do any. Spraying? All hired out
We usually do it all. We just weren’t ready yet and there was a good rain chance
How come your running all the precision equipment on corn planter threw Pro 700 and not gen 3 20/20? 2020 is way more user friendly and can view all maps on it and not need a IPad and useless climate
Just following dealership advice and I love climate especially in the fall
@@iversfarms you have to check out a Gen 3 20/20 sometime, I couldn't be more impressed with mine. Hopefully we get those planters rolling soon. Have a safe successful spring.
@@aaronthesing8751 I know a lot of guys run them and love them. I asked about needing one this past week
@@aaronthesing8751 best of luck to you this spring
what is the deal with everyone copy catting the degalmen tool
I’d like to demo one of those
Those types of tillage tools are all the rage at the moment
Soooooo many ads!!!
Yeah, I just check the box and let CZcams place them where they want
