- In celebration of the Fourth of July, today's video features some especially brilliant tactical combinations and traps. These tactics are well hidden and if the coup is executed, both sides might be seeing fireworks! As with my other tactical videos, it's important to understand the theme and technique of the tactical element, not necessarily the actual move sequence. If you are able to see the sequence before I demonstrate the moves, then you are well on your way to becoming a very good player!

I haven't played online much lately, but I'd be happy to play a game with you on playok sometime! I know several SA players compete on that site, and have had the opportunity to play some of them in US v. SA matches. Very tough indeed!

@@AviweZathu Ha -- I understand! I think playing fast online is OK, and sometimes it's best to just rack up experience playing 3/2 or even faster timers. I personally like 5/3, and don't like to play longer than 10/5. When you play in tournaments, that's when you will need to slow down, and if you have a good memory, you are well on your way to being a great player!
