You will see how to pick a base map from the SmartLink software, load the base map to your ThunderMax, and initialize your system. Have you guys updated the obsolete serial connector yet? When I upgraded to Windows 7, my USB adaptor wasn't recognized and I couldn't find any drivers that would make it work; lucky I have a netbook with good old XP on it, works great from there!

This is not the same basic setup as the 2008-up TBW.
