Having replaced the starter & the battery...what is the secret to getting the T Max to start hot? Bike starts cold. Runs great. WILL NOT start hot. Backfires.
Yes. It took several days to get a hold of T Maxx. They were very helpful! Had me send a "run log"...turns out it was a bad coil. Good resistance when cold. Triple+ resistance when hot. Major issue? I'm very poor with computer stuff.@@pwalms65
Sounds like primary chain gets to tight when hot. In my case, the HD auto tensioner in the primary did just that. Fixed with a spring loaded tensioner or a manual tensioner, as the original HD one is also spring loaded, but is a one way ratchet. Tightens when the bike is cold, gets to tight to start when filling gas.

Did you ever figure it out? Sounded like a AFR issue but thats just a guess.

What are the benefits to upgrading the firmware will it give u more performance
