Great video, also great side by side angles and vid you can see visually…To see who admits who isnt natural (ahem Mark) and the one who doesn’t but clearly does Trt or Hrt. Giving my props to mark being fully transparent and still motivating to watch and listen to.

I run and train alone other than BJJ and I love being alone as well but I do miss the morning PT runs with the platoon as the sun was rising back in the infantry days

This of course depends on your fitness goals, but this video has a refreshing take on the isolation we often think about in lifting; not just in terms of the lifts themselves, but in training methods as well. I’m 6’0”, 155 lbs, 10.5% body fat year round 24/7. I run 35-40 miles per week and lift weights twice per week. There’s no question you have taken and/or continue to take performance enhancing drugs. This is extremely disrespectful to natural athletes like myself that have never used even one substance. Your body/your choice. But I’ll gladly SMOKE any natural athlete in a running/lifting competition. I’ve blended running and weightlifting for years with no pharmaceutical assistance and am proud of what I’ve accomplished! Let’s go!😤

I have been bodybuilding since 2012 and am excited to start getting into running. I can’t remember the last time I even ran a mile but I’m excited to start this hybrid journey
How is it going for you? I've slowly been getting better at running, been going for about 2 months now. I started lifting around 2002/3 body-building style and I feel better now than i ever did back then being too bulky, too heavy and basically too fat. I'm loving it even if I'm 13kg lighter😂😂

It’s interesting to me the shift from powerlifting and bodybuilding to hybrid training that so many of the OG fitness dudes I grew up with have made recently.

Only into bodybuilding and overeating for my entire life. After going for a few easy fun runs this summer, I realized that running gave me a feeling that nothing else ever has.
Truly the best feeling. I’m hooked. Hybrid training all the way now.
@@MS-pw6jx good shit man! Yh man it happened too me about 7 years ago, was all about getting big and muscular, took up running and not stopped since, lift, run and all be an all round athletic guy. Yh no better feeling than after a run. Fantastic way too start the day.

I feel Mark's comments about getting hurt. I've got a knee injury I've been dealing with for years now. I just took a solid 6 months off doing anything more than very, very easy PT and worked back into finally my first squat session today.. my knee is absolutely killing me. I can't even do what I enjoy anymore. I injuried it in BJJ and accepted that was gone but didn't think I would lose lifting too.. yet here I am. I've had 3 surgeries on it, nothing's working. Sucks

I went from 3 miles to 13 miles in 3.5 weeks because I signed up for a half marathon. I needed that kick in the ass and I beat the living crap out of myself for it and the satisfaction when I did it was worth every day of pushing myself

Do it! I weight train in the mornings like 5:30 and love to run in the heat of the day around 2-2:30 pm and it works great for me
