This was my first visit to video the railways of Holland and as I was on route to Luxembourg, Eindhoven was on the list of places to call in on the journey. Situated on the main route from Utrecht and Germany and Roermond it carries a lot of passenger traffic and some freight. Traction wise I witnessed Locomotives of various Electric classes, mainly 1300, 1600, and other classes such as 6400, 9600, 2 car EMU stock as Plan V7, Y2/3, Z0/Z1 The 4000 class "Koploper", 3 car "Sprinter" 2800. and "Regio Runners" Plan 10M. A variety of stylish front end designs dating back some years and a mix of the then quite modern. Spot the replica UK Class 08 shunter.....
I hope this series will appeal to the European enthusiast as well as the BR enthusiasts and again feel free to comment on any material or subscribe to the channel to help support it's growing popularity. Fantastic! Plenty of 1600 class electrics, and the superb lash up of 6400 diesels and of course, the Koplopers . . . If only it was still like that!
