Please don't spike the medication drink lot of water when talking the antibiotics. It's unfortunate the bacteria gave you ulcer and gastric they did endoscopy on me after the antibiotics and I had no ulcer and no gastric. Good luck. Feel better.

I have had this for years and I always thought it was heartburn or just how it was like for everyone. I got tested last week and I tested positive for this, I'm excited to get my life back and for this pain to finally be gone. I been suffering from this bacteria for over 7 years. Had taken antibiotics, nothing worked. I became resistant to metronidazole due to the fact I was given antibiotics for 7 days and not over 10 days. I’m constantly vomiting, bloated and nausea. Some days I’m good other days I feel like death. I was referred to a specialist and now I’m waiting on my new antibiotics which are bismuth+ metronidazole + tetracycline + PPI for 10 days. Hopefully this will work and get rid of this stubborn bacteria.
It definitely affects me mentally. I can’t eat, I’m hungry and my stomach is full of bile. When I eat I feel full straight away and hungry same time because I haven’t even eaten properly. It’s weird to describe it. I can’t sleep properly and my mind is all over the place.

I had this for two years and didn’t know it. I would get sick every time I start eating, and have diarrhea. I would drink teas that would settle the stomach and that was a temporary fix. Finally I went to. GI doctor. He did a endoscopy and figured it out. I’m currently on 1000mg of Amoxicillin 2X a day. I’m big on natural body cleansing, and after I finish the Amoxicillin I will do a parasite cleanse. I found out that Black walnut & wormwood tincture and clove tinctures kills this parasite. I will do this cleanse once year for the rest of my life. I am not dealing with the h-pylori parasite ever again.

@@drewcunningham2 hi there, ask your Dr to test you for pylori h as that is what causes the ulcers. The Dr usually treats pylori h and then any ulcers should get better. The Dr's aren't very useful regarding this. I lost 4 stone in weight because of it.

@@onyinyenwokolo7124 yes! mine is gone now after treatment but I still have the burning feeling when I eat acidic foods but that can be managed by taking acid suppressant tablets before you eat anything please ask your doctor more. the burning is due to inflammation caused by the disease it’s nothing to worry about actually the healing process will take months for you to be yourself again.

This bacteria is something that needs to be periodically tested for when patients go for their annual check-ups. I never heard of this bacteria prior to my mother’s diagnosis and what I found out is that there are people affected and living with it and have No Clue until they start to show signs of discomfort! I do the endoscopy and was diagnosed with this few months ago puts on medication take then, but the side effects are horrible. Was to go and do the breathe test and I didn’t. I also have been reading the comments for people’s feedback. today I went to have the Urea breath test for the second time, Because My last test, the results came back as indeterminate, So I have to do it again the UBT (Urea Breath Test) as suggested by My doctor. I took Sucralfate for what 2 doctors thought were ulcers but think it may be this as I still have symptoms. Waiting to see a specialist. Looks like common antibiotics can help. I'll find out soon.

I Started taking 3 prescription of Antibiotics for 14 Day's and all the sudden I feel sick to my stomach like throwing and constant upset stomach on one of the pills it says it can do that I don't know what to do to settle my stomach.

I had this bacteria, and thanks god i tested negativ after the treatment with antibiotics. It all started with bloating after eating, and just not feel good. later it got really bad. It started with nausea, vomiting all night and day, at first I thought it was food poisoning, so didn't think much of it as I didn't know I had the bacteria. However, I still had bloating and sometimes a little nausea but nothing bad. After a few months, I got nausea again, vomiting for several hours. I guess I have had H Pylori for nearly four years. At first, I was misdiagnosed and had many other blood tests including heart and lung scans. I was eventually diagnosed about one year ago with H pylori. My first course of treatment consisting of two antibiotics and 20mg of PPI for 10 days failed. I got diagnosed with h pylori 2 months ago and I took triple therapy for a week. My symptoms became worse after finishing the therapy. I had an endoscopy recently and it shows I still have h pylori. Consult the doctor again, the infection might not be cured totaly / or the pain can be due to an ulcer formation.
Same thing happened to me , took the treatment twice because I got reinfected. Make sure she change her toothbrush constantly while on treatment.
