Can you please share your Moza pit (which is the closest pre setting to use under GT) and in game settings because it seems you got it dialed in, and many Moza users will gladly thank you for your help.
did you have to calibrate your wheel and pedals? What steering angle are you using etc.

The good bits which is the driving part is the main thing & which is fundamental! Yeah there is a lot of bugs, but they will be fixed! This looks very promising indeed :)

The 488 GT3/E has the mirror in the middle on the LCD irl, so that's actually accurate, although i'd love them to add a virtual mirror if possible tho
I feel like the potential is there for this game. Curious to see how it will look after a year or so.
Press '3' on the keyboard when in the car to bring up the virtual mirror. Not explained anywhere in the ui right now.

I like it... it took a bit to get it working in triples with the proper POV, and in Simhub but finally smoothened it out. I never tried RF2 so have no reference there, but plenty of mixed class and some ACC. I have to say I like the feeling of this SIM a lot and I feel it has quite a bit of potential. Will it rival Iracing? That will depend a lot on the developers of this... if they build a solid matchmaking system with frequent races then I would say absolutely yes they may steal a fair bit of the IMSA crew.. I know I would rather race this if they support it to be successful. Hands down this sim looks, sounds, and feels better than IRACING at least in the GTE's I tried. We shall see if they keep up with it .. but I feel it has a huge amount of potential.

Thanks for your review. I am waiting till the end of 2024 to see how the game is doing. Hopefully it will have VR implemented. Really not into this kind of long endurance racing, so will be just getting the game for VR, doing AI racing, and if there is a sale price on STEAM at the end of this year. Still up in the air whether I get the game at all with the limited content. I have most these tracks in my other games. Vehicles used in this game, I could care less. Its a game and entertains me for an hour or two.
Note: Watching you drive with the AI, The AI do not seem to know you are on the track. They need to fix this if I decide to do AI racing if I get the game. The AI are too aggressive right now to make it enjoyable - too many crashes.

The reason they're launched in an "incomplete" state is precisely the same reason you mentioned earlier in the vid. Money. Today, games are able to be updated at will. So, why not release something "good enough", get some feedback, some development cash, and work on what the players want? It's also a great way to check the stability of online games that you can't do if something's tested in-house. I remember Elite Dangerous when it came out. It was full of bugs but over time, and quite quickly, in fact, most of those bugs were squished once players reported back to the devs.
Baldurs gate 3 was an early access game for a while, and when they were finished with it, it was last years game of the year by a long shot. Maybe Lemans will be that for racing.

Bought it last night.... fought more than an hour to launch my 1rst practice session 😁 Everything worked until I pressed "continue" after track and car selection, then it loaded....10%....17%......etc... and either stopped loading, or crashed back to desktop, sometimes giving me a "error allocating memory" ( I have 16GB RAM) -
For those who have the same issue, I finally solve the problem, by setting the virtual memory to "system managed size" (I had "none" before that) - Since then, I've been able to practice a little 😊 - OK, there are several bugs, weird things happening, but it's OK, prelaunch state 😉 - FFB seems good for my T300RS GT, and I like the physics !
I have good feelings about this LMU 😎
BTW, I think that the Online option is not available until you enter a mail address and validate it 😉

Kireth, ABS or Anti-Lock Braking System is the same thing
I beg to differ about your comment “This feels better than IRacing”. The braking, tire feel, and physics are far superior in IRacing. I purchased and played this game. I want to like it and will continue to support the development. But, I think they have a lot of work to do.

2 different settings. Some games take me months to be happy with the wheel. I donno how some of u can play a game so easily with the sake setting without refining. But yeah acc somehow I got the setting right within the first month

ran great on my 4090 , no pop-ins. I love this game , once it gets VR supports it might take over as my #1 sim over ACC , that's right I said it might take the #1 spot over ACC for me 😎

I want to like LMU, I think the GTE and LMP2 feel alright driving, but my favorite class the hypercars just do not mesh with me. I dont understand how the Oreca can feel responsive and intuitive while the LMHs and LMDhs feel so uninformative and edgy. I also find it super frustrating that I can drive nearly 15 laps at Portimao and yet I still cant get the tires up to temp.
I love the technical aspect of the hypercars, the enegy management, the virtual energy, the different hybrid systems, but the cars feel like they are on a knifes edge and it's not fun when a slight lock up or being slightly late on the brakes means death or spinning out. I just dont think those cars are that edgy in real life.
Might be a lot of tyre temp involved
@@Kireth thing is if I spend 13 laps at Portimao in the 963 and my tires are still not up to temp on a 26 degree track that seems like an issue to me

When you first loaded into Le Man , you didn’t have any of the 3 types of cars selected that’s why you had no opponents, where’s when you did spa they were all selected.
How come Spa was different?
@@Kireth not sure why it wasn’t by default, but you can select what ones you want or don’t want so if you wanted to do a HyperCar only race just select hypercar (it’s white when you have it selected) and have GTE & LMP2 deselected.
Imma assume people are buying this on pc.... with that being said, it in early access. your playing a beta version its not finished and unlike most triple a games that know they still have work to do but they gave it to the masses to have the community play and give feedback of what they would like fixed. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED. PRODUCT AND DOESNT PRETEND TO BE.
Its not worth the price for how little content is in-game right now, at least in my eyes. Maybe after the bugs are fixed and there tracks than days in the week ill look for it on sale.

It's kind of a strange mix of really good & somewhat bad, which is not surprising seeing as the base engine if RF2; it's a pity the RF2 UI issues seem to have been ported into this title but hopefully they'll optimise things & it'll settle down. For me it was worth the asking price for what it offers already in terms of sounds, which are excellent, & what it promises as a fully fledged WEC sim. For early access I think it's as expected really & it's playable with a bit of patience...loading times need to improve a lot though, Le Mans can take a long while....nice balanced take on it by you, nice to see a CZcamsr shell out rather than take the freebie :)
All games in my opinion are early access. Name one game that launched with no problems. The only difference here is the price. I would feel better paying 30 dollars for a product that can be updated than paying 70 to 100 for a deluxe version that's not playable.

Never play new games using ultimate Graphic settings. Most people shouldn't play any games on ultimate, as the tiny graphical improvements arent really noticeable during gameplay. High settings tend to look identical but run with considerably more FPS and less if any lags.
Game is called Ultimate tho

Sorry I think Forza motor sport 8 is the best realistic sim racing by far.
a royal mess / drops from 1st gear to N randomly. steering wheel offset to my left / F.O.V. can't drive. Way worse than WRC 23 at launch.

That's not the question. You indeed have early access so why then not accept a free key over spending your own money.

It doesn't look terrible, but I think this is going to spell the end of Motorsport games. I guess i should be happy considering the harm theyve done to the existing titles that offer generally better experiences.
Disagree mate; if they get this right with future content, bug fixes & maybe even classic content, this game could be a bangar. I was seriously impressed with my first races, so let’s hope it improves. MSG have screwed up, but they have a chance here to make good, and it has enormous potential.
@@fioralbannach6647 I dont know about you, but I remember when games really only had one shot to be good at release. Personally, I am beginning to find it extremely hard to have any slim chance of hope that after a few years my game will finally be playable. Again, i dont think that this looks like a bad game or a game that isn't going to have its moments where it is absolutely electric to race, I just also believe that what is there will get stale very fast... then the performance issues and crashes tell me its not something i want to get frustrated over. I would say the only positive about this release, having not played it myself, is that it isn't $70. It looks like a cash grab and I hope I can be wrong about it, but the company has a terrible track record, I also feel like especially right now, aside from a few vehicles, there isn't anything that is really setting it apart from AC or even an old game like project cars, where i can have many more tracks and cars. At the end of the day, it just depends on what you want out of your games and i just dont see anything there that stands out or makes me think that what is being sold currently, isn't far from the "final" product. Honestly This comment is too long to read sorry, Though I dont see anything but a desperate attempt to delay going under. They just lost their deal with IndyCar because they werent making progress on their game for them. Nascar chose to turn to Iracing for a game and they are talking about having a career mode in their series specific game.
