- The North Tonawanda Police Department has identified the 6-year-old boy and two adults killed after a train crashed into a vehicle on Friday night.
Sorry this is driver error.. No need for lawyerrs... Waste of time and money
The family rushing to a lawsuit is not a good look for the family. Not even grieving the loss of life. 😢
he panicked...he could have floored it and just went forward.....very sad, especially the child.
👀 The car got struck in the track... Man, that's scary R.I.P to the victims, especially the innocent child
Do not stop on tracks, it's that simple.
❤
The fault is on the driver for not comprehending the situation. Last but not least you never procede through a railroad crossing unless you have sufficient room to clear the crossing.
The driver totally F'd up!! 🫣
They could have got out of the truck and walked away.
If the family has a lawyer already they tend to put the blame on others other then the driver who put them in a bad situation.
People are ridiculous. They would rather get hit by a train than break a piece of wood.
Why would anyone be crazy enough to drive in front of a train; knowing 90 percent of the time they will easily get killed.
A grandparent who didn't give a crap about the future of his grandchild. He didn't obey basic driving lessons and he killed that kid and his wife.
An Amtrak train hit an elderly person here in Austin last Wednesday (in Round Rock) The woman was 76 and was dead on the scene. 🥀
😢so sad
WKBW TV | Buffalo, NY, Your videos are fantastic! I just had to subscribe!
Pretty sad and unfortunate it was the driver's fault and not the train.
However after learning about the railroad industry it's scary and straight up messed up. Especially when it comes to derailment and the dangerous stuff they haul.
Oh, my. So sorry to hear this. Praying for the Family, Friends and all who knew Them. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ha, my comment that a train can't possibly stop within sight distance was deleted. I guess someone thinks that isn't common knowledge or even true. Deleting my comment won't change physics of inertia and breaking distance. If you are thinking that the train is at fault and should be able to stop - it can't and, that may be the one factor that will get you killed at a crossing.
Damn. What loss of shiny happy people.
are you sure ts not a suicide by train???????
What a horrible thing to say
@@debbielighthall9671 I cant believe people are so stupid and ignorant when the train gates come down and you are on the tracks you get the heck out of there the gates break away when you hit them, so there is minimal damage to you car.
GET THE PASSENGERS OUT IF YOU'RE STUCK!
Pilot error.?????
Why would anyone pause on a active railway..
Its for trains that Do. Not. Stop.
This is sad and is the second news clip I have seen recently where law enforcement were involved near a railroad crossing that resulted in a collision with a train. WHY does law enforcement need to conduct business so close to a railroad crossing? A train cannot stop on a dime and all of the red and blue emergency flashing lights in the world will NOT make a train stop. Police need to exemplify themselves as representatives of public safety by moving farther away from railroad crossings to conduct business when they can. Couldn't they have instructed the person they stopped to move forward 100 feet and resume business at a safer location???
So SAD
No info babe, it was NOT a train just like that one behind you. To a PI lawyer, the fault lies with whomever has the deepest pockets.
Drivers have to be more patient when near railway tracks.......Boom gates are there for a reason.
It was the cops that told them to back up and he tryed to brake the bar and it did not work
I thought it might of been Tom and Andy Ditch on purpose
Ok, the truck drove around the stopped car. Driver error, tragic but drivers fault
Hit on the train tracks. Really, how do you think a train can stop on a dime. Tragic yes, but the train was on the tracks where the train has the right of way
The Police had an obligation to protect the public and failed to do so!
34 sec is not long and no either people wanted to die
Rip x 3🙏🏻⚘️🙏🏻⚘️🙏🏻⚘️
Pretty sure that guy needs to think about a new job js
There are a couple of issues at this crossing. The timing of the gates isn't as important as the timing of the bells and lights. A driver will encounter many, many crossings that only have flashing signal lights. The flashing signal lights, as we are taught in driving course means STOP do not enter. If you are already committed, or on the tracks you must clear BEFORE the gates close. If there were 'no stopping zones' for any reason painted by cross hatch, the traffic stop would be in violation as there is no shoulder, and would be blocking any car trapped. His age may also have played a part. If you have bad driving habits that take risks by the time you are a senior, those bad habits can kill you. In the city or out in the country, when the lights start flashing as you approach a crossing STOP, unless you can't safely. The timing is such you should be able to clear before the gates come down and well before a train crosses. If you are still on the crossing when the gates come down, you are already in immediate danger and must take immediate action. The gates are designed to break off and they are easily and quickly replaced.

Rest in Heaven little angel ✝️ Rest in peace ✝️ All Gods angels are in Heaven.God be with the families ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
Why was Lewiston police a half hour out of jurisdiction???? Sounds like the family should sue them.
Ban assault trains! Sensible train control legislation immediately!
It would need 49 years for train casualties to be on par with 1 year of gun casualties. Trains are better regulated than guns, probably a coincidence.
The government is actively working on it. They are looking into Amtrak reducing six cars down to three. This should make everything 'twice' as safe.
@@ghost_stars2307 Take away self-inflicted statistics and your narrative crumbles. Name the most dangerous cities in the US, along with their gun control policies. Seems like the stricter it gets, the more bold criminals become.
I think I can, I think I can,I think I can.. Nope
Trump 2024!!
Was he involved in the crash?
