On my quest to create the most generic space marines in existence, I present the Marine marines. Their chapter symbol is a skull on a skull pattern background. They were a successor chapter of unknown founding and had a greco roman aesthetic. They were known for their brutality, before falling to chaos, and resolve. They will take on the toughest battles and don't care about civilians. Despite falling, they don't consider themselves to be pawns of chaos, but instead use it as a tool.

The Death Eagles are still cool and deserving of their rank (you gave them due to mistaking them for the Doom Eagles)
They are basically confirmed to be loyalist Emperor's Children, as there was a company of EC during the Heresy known as the Death Eagles who stayed loyal. Their original color scheme was purple, white, and pink and their logo is still identical to the Emperor's Children's. So basically they are loyalist Emperor's Children who painted their armor black and went "we are totally Raven Guard you guys" and called it a day

Consecrators are cool. They’re basically the old dreadwing. They use the better heresy era black and red Dark Angels scheme, use old war crime weapons and armor, and always deploy at full chapter strength. They fuck shit up and leave.
From what I know, the Consecrators' icon is actually the Firewing's-the part of the legion where they put their spooks and assassins. Their current M.O. where their job is to hunt down knowledge and preserve/uncover Dark Angels history is related to the old Firewing's job of espionage, assassination, and intelligence.
Also, recently, their chapter master was so trusted by the 1st Founding chapter that he was put in charge of the fleet elements of the combined Dark Angels task force in the battle over Wyrmwood in the last Arks of Omen book.

Death Eagles may be Emperor's Children Loyalists that were absorbed into Raven Guard and are thus a Solid A.
Can't believe they put the angel knights of scarlet destruction marines in lol who, clearly they haven't read about the battle of gobledegook in M38 where they fought the profidious xenos the gorblons in their home sector of the red stars. They are space marines who care about human lives but also don't care, and also they are dour and look down on the weak, very unique and original
You get the +1 for slapping the Genesis Chapter in S tier where they fucking belong.
If Memory serves me the Disciples of Caliban were created specifically to hunt Cypher. The Dark Angles chapter master at the time had his request to create a new chapter denied, the chapter master then blackmailed several high lords of Terra until he got what he wanted. the story of their founding is kinda cool and very Dark Angels but they clearly aren't very good at their job since Cypher is still alive and free.
I think the Tome Keepers have some of the most interesting lore of recent years. The short stories in WD are worth checking out.
I just checked them out and yeah, they seem pretty cool. I really liked their dedication to saving knowledge through a massive library
Hoping to see Lamenters, Black Templars, and Minotaurs in S Tier.... hmm maybe minotaurs in A. Asterion is carrying them on his back.
The Absolvers are thought to be an Ultramarine successor chapter, but it’s unclear. They don’t have much power armor due to the Gilead system being cut off. This causes them to have a ton of scouts
Soul Drinkers are the best successor chapter. They are more loyal than most loyalists and taught the changer of ways a thing or two. Also show how to use chaos against chaos.
Honestly saddest that the Iron Knights got skimmed, they're one of my favorite 2nd Founding chapters, and they actually have pretty interesting lore. They're basic in ways, but it's a very very tasteful and well-executed basic, and that makes them cool. They also are not codex compliant with their heraldry and display company colors on lil shields on their pauldron, they look bloody awesome.
Fire Hawks threw a star at traitors. That is the only tier that matters. They are S, for Star Tier.

I think you all missed Crimson Sabres. Most of them turn into the Crimson Slaughter Traitor war band, but some stayed loyal and their scheme goes hard.
Eli, Collin, I hear you guys on the Deepkin. They are one of the single coolest looking armies in the whole game. So cool you might forget to ask how many minis they have? They have 11 units. Of which FIVE are leaders. So for me they are C tier, not because they are a bad army, but because GW, do better.
Silver Guard are in the Sabat World's background books, and have a Good Scheme.
Put some respect on the Doom Legion. They lost 6 companies in the Abyssal Crusade, and only 4 remained to watch over the Elusian maze asteroid field from their fortress monastery, the Dark Age void station Elusia Prime. Of those lost in the Crusade, the former First Company fell to Nurgle to become the warband the Vectors of Pox. They sent an emissary back to their former Chapter for parley, and the new Chapter Master met with the former First Company Captain. They offered the Doom Legion to join them, and the Doom Legion refused but let them leave in peace. Then, when the Vectors of Pox Thunderhawk left Elusia Prime, the Chapter Master had the defence batteries blow it up.

Don’t know if anyone says this but Erik the slayer was created to honour an elder scrolls fan who died before Skyrim came out . Bethesda let him play an early build before he died because he was such a diehard oblivion fan

Servitor Baldemort had the best interpretation of Fallen Angels in his Fallen Angels video. The Dark Angels as the 1st Legion are essential to the myth of the Imperium. They set the example. They are The First.
For the Blood drinkers a lot less of them fall to the black rage. However any that do are given a chance to not succumb to it in exchange for selling the entire chapter’s soul to Tzench. Non of the marines know of this deal until it is offered to them.

41:30 Yeah but the Celestial lions keep getting killed because they make stupid decisions based on honor. The Lamenters keep getting killed because they are unlucky and risk their lives to save people when other's wouldn't. A lot of the Celestial Lions died because they refused to retreat unless they personally killed one of the war lords on Armageddon to the point that Grimaldus had the opportunity to kill him multiple times but had to keep him in place for a celestial lions marine to get the kill.
