In this video I head for a quick coffee in the woods and as there is nothing better than eating breakfast in the woods i decided to do a little outdoor cooking on my lixada stove and make a big breakfast in the woods. Nothing beats woodland cooking and havng a nice woodland breakfast. This was only a quick video guys... not long now until the wild camp s can commence!!

There is nothing better than cooking and eating outside plus it always tastes better outside for some reason. I'm liking the wood cup never seen one of those before. Thanks for sharing

Carrying the Thermos is a great idea. While I was in the Army I used to carry one. Nothing like a hot tea on gun picket a 2 o'clock in the morning. Lots of others thought it was a great idea but not many of them carried one with them.
You can't beat eating sausages in the woods! Especially Richmond's 😋😋

Great video Carrie. Good to see you and the dog having fun and enjoying a nice breakfast in the woods. Done similar myself with my JetBoil recently. Enjoyed a brew by the stream and chilled out listening to the birds and the trees. Lot to be said for it. Stay safe 🏕️👍

One thing I have noticed is that the folks in the UK know how to do a proper breakfast. Even thought it was windy, nothing more peaceful than a good meal outdoors. New subscriber. Thank you for bringing us along on your adventures.

Great video! Been working from home for a year now. Over winter I’ve accumulated some kit to do exactly the same kind of stuff. Haven’t ventured out yet. Just concerned 50 million others may have had the same idea. Got a feeling we’ll be fighting for elbow room in the woods by late May. 😂

R&R Enterprises used to sell a Micro tarp. Not sure if they still do but, if it still exists, it is perfect for sheltering one person and a stove from the wind. Mine is green and unobtrusive. It’s small so no one would think you were overnighting unless you had a bivy bag, too.

Great video, the frying pan you have looks like the cheap chinese one I got on ebay, fits my aluminium Trangia 27 in place of the aluminium plate/frying pan

Yep, those Beech trees look ready to sprout leaves. Hazel trees are coming out with catkins further south. Booked myself 5 days on the north Devonshire coast in May to get out exploring.

Awww I'm gutted I've only just found your channel and I've missed out on your back catalogue from your old channel 🙁🙁 I've only started with the backpacking and wild camping, though I have done quite a bit of touring and camping on my bike (or should I say bikes 🙈🙈) I think I'm localish to you I'm in Teesside and often walk with the dog around the Cleveland way so looking to do my first camp around there, anyway really enjoying your vids and look forward to seeing all your new uploads 👍👍😉
