My bull is a freaking monster cleaves people dead or down in two or three attacks tops. He also generally will dismember enemies often it's nuts how strong he got when he was purchased to carry my stuff.
River Raptors are A tier for me. You get skin, they are many, they are easy to kite and kill even for low level characters AND their foul raw meat is free food for my pack animals. And then there are soooooo many of them wherever they spawn. So yeah, easy source of animal skin and pet food. And i suppose if yo uare a hiver drone or hiver soldier, then you can actually eat that raw fould meat yourself. Oh and clearly you need to create a seperate Tier for Bloodspiders. Only the deepest depths of hell are where these monsters belong !
I thought I had to be dreaming when you had the audacity to put goats into C tier. I think they deserve at least B and I would've put them in A 'cause they're surprisingly strong. Besides that, though, I agree. Well played!
I built my base next to the cannibal hunter HQ and I love the mountain doggos that come help me when I get attacked. If the enemy that comes to attack me is too powerful I just kite them over to the cannibal hunters and problem solved.
Did you forgot mountain dogs cannibal hunters have them occasionally and you used to be able to start with one with the guy with a dog start. They're stronger than bonedogs but unobtainable sadly.
Bulls are best at base defense. Just park them on top of stairs leading to your ranged guys, and when enemy finall break the door and start ascending - command bull to charge.
I noticed them when I saw horns in the sand. They tend to be an ambush nest, so without a Desert Sabre, they will ruin your large party trip while on x4.
Like to see a playthough of 5 companies only and as many pets as you want but the challenge would be to not build a base but buy a building and work out of it would be cool
I always put my scouts on Stealth. I would know right away if they are being engaged and I can hardly see anything hostile until I see something small and red moving behind.
Cornelius the goat is not too OP but he will kick many asses , make him the sidekick of every new recruit up to lvl XX and then bring him back down for the next new guy , important grind his athletics , A tier
Theres a couple animals i like using for a couple different reasons... Iron/Security Spiders and Crimpers... they dont eat so... if i see a nomad trader selling em... im buying em 100% of the time... theyre also big tanky bastards, and i usually just leave them sitting at the bottom of a pond by my main gate... the biggest issue when buying these fucks is how slow they are... transporting a few back to base can take some time Garru's i dont recruit many, usually at most 2 in a playthru... used to quickly run between outposts and towns to transport things i need somewhere else Bulls... my current playthru im @ 8 of these guys... 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 pups... i leave em following the hauler on bodyguard duty until they reach adulthood... then i take them rampaging across the desert, trampling every peasant i come across Beak things... they escort my garrus or bulls... usually dont get many as they eat alot... Not rlly much else i find worth taming
I hate blood spiders with a damn passion. Always messing up my legs and my pack bull just cleaves them to death in droves, but they always manage to mess up my legs first.
The only thing I disagree with is the Blood Spiders. To me, F-tier is for really weak things that aren't very interesting. Blood spiders are the opposite of that. They're strong things that are very interesting because they're terrifying. They should be S-tier!
Great list! Really appreciate the beak things making it to S. After living in Gut for a while, I've come to really love those guys. A real shame boneyard wolves can't be legitimately acquired without mods, but they really are horrifically overpowered with having every advantage of the bonedog plus way higher stats, so I see the reasoning. I'd place them at B on my personal list for at least having substantial drops for the trouble they cause. It would have been interesting to see the domesticated bull individually ranked, because they are quite a bit different from their wild and pack brethren. They heal slower, have less blood and health on their head, but get a strength growth multiplier and deal more blunt damage, which would in theory make them the most damaging and better at handling armored targets, but glass cannons that can't take a blow to the noggin. Wild bulls and pack bulls on the other hand are very similar, with wild bulls having lower base stats, which hardly matters at all, and I wish they were differentiated more, maybe with the wild ones having an attack and toughness growth modifier to simulate them being adapted to fighting and surviving in the harsh environment.

A leveled bull can wipe a whole squad in seconds, if you can keep them alive long enough to get levelled.

Garru’s are so goated, if you’re getting chased by some bandits and run into a herd of them, they’ll save ya

Bloodspiders are the most dangerous cause you never see them coming until there are suddenly red numbers popping up

Love hunting beak things, great to farm melee attack and deffense and very proffitable to kill
Garu's have a light source you can mine ores with him at night in early game. And it looks cool

Red spider was S tier for me. They like zerg swarm, one or two of them was easy, but they never alone always in swarms

Almost the same. After few hundred hours I started to notice that sometimes I fail to see them coming. Only then I realised they can actually hide.
3:00 Thats exactly how my very first Character and his Group died…got ganked and eaten alive by blood spider after fighting swamp ninjas.

How do i recruit prisoners? Ive captured 5 people and i cant talk to any of them they just stand in the cage

What makes them deadly is being glass cannons. They are easy to down, but they attack in numbers and they will attack with HIGH damage.
Garru's carry more, bulls are better in a fight in my experience.

Put a animal in bed? Or get a skeleton, take off all it's limbs put the best armor in the game on it. Then put it in a skeleton repair bed
Yes I'm aware that the animal in the bed is for early game. But my method is for is for late game when you are tired of grinding low level characters
