We need the rain here in the Shenandoah Valley of VA! We are burnt up. Our pastures are brown and our streams are drying. Hauling water for horses and cattle. The rain was all toward the coast. We have not gotten a drop.

We had a bad dry season in Florida for awhile until the rain came this June and July hopefully yall get some rain!!
I have friends in Front Royal.. My area.. south central PA , just to the west of Harrisburg, is also pretty dry. The rain and storms go right around us. The same areas get the rain, and storms every time. While we, almost always, miss the rain and snow.
It's hot and humid for weeks already and I'm ready for Fall.
Sorry, but I live in Western Virginia, Shenandoah Valley/Blue Ridge Mtns. region, and we have not had ANY rain for weeks and weeks. It is beginning to look like we are living in the Southwest Deserts. We've had temperatures for days on end in the mid to upper 90's. It is really bad in my area for gardeners and farmers.
The weather seems more like mid-late August instead of July. It is like the weather is a month ahead of where it should be for this time of year.
I wonder if fog netting/ harps would help to collect any early morning dew would help. There are some interesting ways I've seen people to regreen the desserts. I think leaf of life is one of the channels that talks about all that.

In southern Indiana, I had lightning go through our wires (or something like that) and it destroyed our internet box. It was scary
Same happened to me in Georgia in the late 90s. My dad and grandfather built a PC for me and the lightening blew the back out of it.
It's rained alot here in Chesapeake Virginia the past two days but gefore that the trees, plants were turning brown.

Never had weather like this before? Before what? Weather we're having has happened before and will happen again. Ive seen droughts, rainy weather, semi dry, semi wet, bad storms, mild rain, heavey rain, hail, strong winds during storms, ect, none of it is unusual so i dont know what youre talking about when you use title: weve never had weather like this before.
This is why I have a few weather reports that I watch, this not being one of them. You really have to screen these people cause most are crap. Look for Mr Weather... He's the best

south central PA haven't had a drop of rain in over a month, everything is brown, grass is dead, streams dry, wild animals are suffering, we need rain badly, and it looks like 90s and no rain coming.
