i think there needs to be a stage 8.5, like AVG 1k blocks per progects and masterd functions and lists, this is way too big of a gap

Wasnt that accurate to me but its was fun. Here is how it went for me:
1. Watching a yt video where someone said you learn scratch in school (but I didn't)
2. Checking it out
3. Instantly start to make a prpject and be confused
4. Learn what every block does
5. Finnaly beableto make games
6. Master making games
