the easiest and most effective way to make a thumbnail is to simply make the thumbnail, make it forever front layer, make it so when flag clicked it hides the thumbnail, click the show block, save the project, and exit it. this will work as long as you don't re-enter the editor page after clicking the flag. but if you are updating the game, add your update, show the thumbnail, save the project, and exit.

Actually an easier way of making the thumbnail is:
1. Make your thumbnail a sprite
2. Put this code in your thumbnail:
when green flag clicked
forever {
set ghost effect to [10000]
}
3. You're done!

when timer is greater than 0.001 show
