Everybody loves Raymond and the king of queens were the embodiment of the early 2000’s. What an awesome time
Neal’s pod is a never miss for me. his Blocks special was one of my favorite’s that year too. thx all
I watch everybody loves Raymond like kids watch their favorite video. It's perfect. I don't care about family stuff. But that show is tight, paced, character- driven. Perfect.
The names Deborah called Ray were incredibly abusive and a bad influence on a lot of people.
This clip is a crash course in being and incredible sweetheart. Phil Rosenthal is lovely! ( so is the host 😉)
What a fabulous person. Phil is the real deal.
This show is gonna be #1 podcast one day.
Supporting Neal
I literally just watched the 30 Rock episode "I Heart Connecticut" where Phil makes a cameo, that's a hilarious coincidence
I don't care what anyone says, 30 Rock is the funniest show in the history of television. Just nonstop jokes that almost always hit the mark.
No argument here. Actual comedic masterclass from Tina Fey and the rest of the writers.
I've only watched a few episodes and sampled parts of many and found it funny.
Seems there were children on the show, but they mostly are not seen that much, well behaved, and not the center of attention.
A nice little fantasy going on.
I can see why it was popular and great viewing.
I still watch it almost every night. It’s just that good, to me.
Tragically, one of the twin boys ended his life at 19 yrs old.
In the first year opening Ray actually said "it's not about the kids." This was probably the first family sitcom ever where the kids were not the focus. Barely seen and rarely heard from.
Family Ties did the IQ test story where the dummy (Mallory) did better. I’m sure many shows did it earlier.
Seinfeld did it and Elaine scored low (taking it for George).
@@phillipdavidson3592 Rewatched that one the other night!
show was funny but wife was annoying, I used to fas forward her in my mind...
She was the only one that wasn’t annoying, that was the point
@@sparksdrinker5650 she was the MOST annoying one... duo if that was the point... least likable character... worse than Ray's mom and thats saying a lot.
@@starwarstheme1 oh god no, Marie was practically the devil, Deborah is only annoying if you always side with Ray.
Not to sound like an asshole, but I don’t get why the key thing is funny. Can someone please explain?
They didn’t play the whole setup. He has twins who are babies, so the only joke he has written is jingling keys. (Jingling keys makes babies laugh)
always assumed that was some shitty sitcom so i never watched
