FIREARMS REFERENCED
Ruger-5.7
I now carry a PSA Rock 5.7mm as my EDC. It's comfortable, lightweight, and very reliable. I used to carry tiny 9mm pistols with as many rounds as I could cram into them.
dawg I can understand it being hard to find but why spend $1200 and worry about ammo prices, That’s like buying a V8 and worrying about gas
The fivesevens weight, especially the usg at 21oz, makes carrying really nice. I’m 5’9” 150lbs and it carries/conceals better then my Staccato c, hk p30, vp9, USPc. It’s also much more comfortable than my p2000sk and Glock19. I dig it!
This is such a cool caliber and gun! Thank you!
Interesting perspective. Lots to consider. Thanks
Was binging your series on the calibers and was disappointed to find 38 special was not on there. With all the snubbies out there and the police carrying them for so many years, I was looking forward to seeing it.
Putting out great content I’ve been on a channel binge with you! I think some of those “How powerful series” should get a part two!
I had a 5.7 but sold it ,the price of ammunition was a killer. It set in the gun safe for over a year because I couldn't find any ammo for it. Finally I got some shot it and said good by.
Have the Ruger 5.7 great weapon. Am considering it for everyday carry.
I have a PSA Rock RK1 as my truck gun. AAC makes good decent priced ammo. But 23+1 capacity and better range than 9mm, it's a good firearm to have around. Got a Holosun 407k red dot on it, but holsters are hard to find.
As large as the FN Five Seven is, I find it to be extremely comfortable to carry concealed in AIWB and it conceals very well despite it’s size.
I used to carry a 5" 1911, I like the extra barrel length for IWB carry, keeps it balanced in my waistband.
I’m thinking of switching to this caliber for my EDC as well
I had a Ruger 5.7 but I sold it because of ammo availability and price. I loved the gun and the round but if I can't get ammunition and I can't afford to buy it if I can find it what's the point in owning the firearm?
I have both the FN 5.7 and the newer Smith and Wesson 5.7. I EDC both in rotation even with sweatpants due to their light weight. A belt slide holster and either disappears in any pants that I may wear.
Thanks for the video. My ? For you is given the fact that criminals are wearing armor will this round over the counter penetrate body armor?
I learned something new; always thought the 5.7 carried farther than a 9. Anyway, I see a 57 gun similar to my opinion on a Tesla. Very interesting technology, and I'd love to have one, if I had lots of discretionary money to burn.
Bought mines last month for EDC and collectors item🤙🏾
I have mk2 and I would edc if I could find a holster
Nice
