  • As promised, here is the comparison of the three commonly available 5.7x28 handguns: FN Five-seveN, Ruger 57 and Palmetto State Armory 5.7 Rock! And we installed three different red dot choices on them and will begin the video focusing on those three before we move on the pistol differences. The three red dots are all 3 to 3.25 MOA. They are the expensive Trijicon RMR, the lesser known medium priced Burris Fast Fire 4 with a metal frame, and the less expensive and well known Vortex Venom.

I ordered a Rock from PSA for a gift. We shot 300 rounds. I sold my FN and bought a Rock for myself.
The PSA 23 round mags, and I have 20+ of them, all hold 24 rounds.

Sir I love the roc 57 n also have a lot of mags n also realized they'll hold 24 just like the ruger will hold 21,not telling u wut to do, but as much as I like the xtra round, I still only load to standard capacity, not bkus I'm worried about the spring, but bkus I think its a bad idea to put that much pressure on the lips of the magz even tho they're steel. Just my opinion, with 1 in the hole u got 24rds anyway. Just offering my opinion man, IM definitely tempted to do the same but decided against it just in case. Rock on boss!

PSA is hit or miss. I have the Ruger LC Carbine 5.7, wonderful ergonomics, wonderful use of the 5.7 round in full coming out that carbine barrel. It is also extremely light. If s hit the man I would grab the LC and choose the Ruger as my side arm. Mind you I have both the carbine and the pistol. The ergonomics to me… the ruger carbine and pistol feel great in hand. The psa rock feels nice, but I trust ruger for more reliability. The rock is a nice pistol though, but it’s hit or miss. PSA has terrible quality control and customer service now. They grew fast and im not so much a fan now. Broke people will choose the rock, but why the hell would you be broke and go with a 5.7 round? If I had to choose over again, I would have went with FN. I believe my M4 in the Corps was an FN. battlefield rdy and proven.

While I have no experience with the FN I have owned the ruger and PSA. The Ruger came with a voucher for 1 optics plate. Waited a month for that. When I changed to a different optic, it cost me 40$ and another month to get it from ruger. Trigger sucks and takedown was goofy. Paid 750$ The PSA was 500$ with all plates included. Its much more of a duty gun then the ruger, which is a pinker at best. Has more capacity. Just bought a second PSA 5.7 for 350$....and the mags are 20$....better trigger. Glock sights...Put a halosun on them.
S&W just came out with a 5.7 as well, looks nice but I sold my ruger for the PSA and won't sell them, regardless of how nice the S&W is.
