Fair play mate.. you’ve handled it better than I would have
Why didn't she pay for parking?
I Try my best but it's still a pain thanks for watching.
Good luck to her with court then, there's no parking there either..
Every industry has all sorts of customers. From the ones who are too loving, that you can not get work done, to one that will be aggravated when you look the wrong way. In the end all I think of is that I don't turn into them by getting too worked up. You Handled it like a champion
Just give her Ken’s number and see if he can do it for her instead
You always get people like that.
I would hate to be an Electrician in London, it would drive me crazy!
I know exactly where you were driving there, along Devons Road to Bromley By Bow then along Hackney Marshes, it's all where I grew up, love looking at it.
Look forward to the next one
Nice one Doc hope all is well. Thanks for watching, you are right about working in London it's a nightmare. Especially since Covid they have blocked off so many roads.
I was laughing along with you at the end there - I have a perfect picture in my minds eye of the type of person this was ... ill fit it myself ... hahahaha
You are right mate thanks for watching.
Del roy you got a good heart
Sounds like you had a lucky escape. I don't know if you seen the David Savery video "The impossible angry Karen" of a year ago, where the customer assaulted him and was arrested. She was barking mad!
Yeah that was _something_!
I mean she wasn't that bad, they agreed a time and then he said he couldn't do it because he couldn't find a parking space.. she's right him living in london he must run into trouble with parking quite a bit. it's not her fault he has been waiting since 8:30
I think you are right about lucky escape part, she could have been a nightmare. One thing I have learned when the job is rushed on the client part stay away. She contacted me about 3 pm on Tuesday the work had to be completed on Wednesday because her tenant was moving in that evening. I should have known better. thanks for watching.
You handled it like a true professional susplendid u fine sir delroy.
Thanks for watching.
your very nice my brother I wouldn't refund her I would've said see you and court 😂
its all cool and the gang, del
You offered to refund her in the first place then you changed your tone😂
No I didn't change my mind, because she was getting stroppy I was pointing out that I didn't have to do it.
@@eastwayelectrical at 2.30 to 2.35, all I heard was, "I'll refund you the money, and you can get someone else"😅
5.30 mans finished working all day long
Must be a nightmare working in London , where I live parking is no problem . I did my apprenticeship as a sparky in 1978 , I've recently retired early no aggro now , stress free , you should try it Del .
Always get it agreed in writing! text message or email. Always be clear that there will be a charge if I attend and cannot do any works. Take a picture or vid of you attending the property. If you agree something over the phone then send a text message/email just to confirm what was agreed in the conversation. Get them to reply with a please proceed or please carryout the works or yes I understand.
Hi Garry thanks for the advice sounds good thanks for watching.
London is a different animal mate .
It's absolutely not on the customer that you were early though. Saying you've been there since 8.30 is irrelevant because that's not what was agreed. Obviously your time from 9am onwards is a different issue. But this isn't exactly doing your brand any favours 😂
You are reading it all wrong, me been there early wasn't the point I mentioned it to tell the whole story. I got there early on my own accord I wasn't complaining. However, if it makes you laugh it's all good.
You arranged a time and then arrived at a different time. That’s on you, not her.
I’d hate to work in London
I wouldn’t want to drive around let alone park somewhere
Glad you can laugh about it. I'd refund too, Karen aint worth the agro..
Too be fair your in a wrong for agreeing a time and going early you cannot expect them to be there but fair play for refunding
I think you missed the point. The issue isn't being early the issue is the parking.
@@spikeychris the point is he was moaning about her not being there when he was early...he didn't want to do the job because she was gonna arrive at normal time and then she wanted another time..
@@Tom-iw7lx no the point is the customer agreed to arrange parking for him and then didn't. Regardless of whether he was early or not there was nowhere to park for the job.
@@spikeychris God knows if there would off been parking at the right I suppose we won't know...
@@spikeychris Customer said she would pay for parking. Granted she didn't but it made no difference. Dell arrived much earlier than expected and still couldn't find parking. When she arrived there still wasn't any parking.
Na I think you’re responsible for parking up your own van…trades theses days are such snow flakes they want everything the easy way
🤣🤣🤣 don't agree but the snow flake comment is amusing thanks for watching.
Parking is always a pain in London but it's not on the customer that you got there early, if you agreed between 9-10 then in all fairness your time starts from 9 as that's the agreed time.
She probably got a little annoyed because you said I'll refund you and you can get someone else, then said I don't have to refund you lol
