    I'd still say without a doubt Del's channel is the best and most realistic spark videos on CZcams

    How many times have we all been bitten on the backside with jobs like this. You done well not to swear when your probe got stuck in your tester 😂

    My team drill thousands of tiles ... and the only reliable way we have found over 20 years are the triangular glass & tile bits. Just press in with the point first to break the glaze and then slowly drill - work up in size as needed

      @roydowling2542 Před rokem +2

      I've drilled hundreds of tiles by simply drilling through the tile without the hammer action turned. Once through the tile switch on the hammer action and you'll be grand

      Hi Mark. My friend's daughter showed me a neat trick using masking tape. It's really good. Maybe I can use it next time.

    Great video Mr. Delroy! I thought it was only me who got into daft situations where things take 6 times longer than you thought 😅 Had to drill several hundred tiles on a job & now I'll only use the blue Bosch CYL9 multi material bits. They stay sharp and don't slip. Hey that's good advice 😂😂

    Glad i am retired now. I was in the security industry as well on night call faults. It was hell. Thought electrical call out was bad enough. But industrial alarms was another world of high tech when i retired. I knew security network systems inside out at the time. Many electricians walked out of the security industry, they could not cope.. Reason simply is lack of experience that comes in time and lack of basic electronic knowledge. I use to say stick with what you know.

    Great vid as always. With that fluke, did you accidentally press the hold button, which holds the valve tested - then when you went to test again, the light comes on to tell you there is power but you where showing 0volts because that was what was read when you pressed the hold button? I think you can see in the vid at the bottom of the flukes screen HOLD which lets you know its activated

    Ahh..the service hatch over the door 😂 and isolator for lights ? And a pull cord inside (shower ?). For drilling into tiles a good and simple hack is one hammer tap on a masonry drill bit where you want to drill. Forget the tape. Big faff as you have already green spotted the drill point on wall and i find it even skids on tape but not on the masonry bit tap mark.

    The trickle feed fans seem to be used much more by housing associations dealing with black mould complaints. Would be interesting to see how long it’s designed to work for before it fails on trickle feed mode.👍
