Brilliant Game! I was hooked when my brother first let me play it. Finished the plot 24 hours into playing it, didn't collect the collectibles; saved that til last... I think I'll play it again when exams finish :L properly. Starting all over again and collecting the stuff as I go along. But seriously great game, because you see how lara progresses and its really satisfying :) Ahhh!! I want another one now XD

Square enix have two amazing games here, Hitman and Tomb Raider :)
Speaking as one who has played and beaten every tomb raider game since the first on ps1 they look like they've done a decent remake of this game for those who think it's an origin story note I said remake this is not an origin story this is an complete reboot of the franchise
my fucking god, ive been folowing from Tomb Rader 1, and this story looks to be as epic as the game was when it first came out in 1996.
this is like "The Deadliest Game" mixed with "Hatchet" with just a dash of Heroin thrown in for good measure.
No doubt, this is going to be E10+.

I'm still not really sure what to think about this. They seem to have made some dramatic changes to her as a character. I wonder if this is a sequel and this is before she started raiding tombs.

That actually looks pretty nice. If the story is good, I can live with no gameplay mechanics, except for quick-time events. Just as an interactive book/story.
Games have pretty much become interactive movies now!! Gone are the games where you spent hours searching for upgrades and hidden weapons!! Fun level has dropped a bit
Thats the whole idea mate this is the prequel to the original games, it shows you how she became what she is :-)

This reboot will want me to play this series. I never liked the tomb raider series but..... This looks more interesting.
I wonder if this game is meant as a kind of prequel to the series. Lora seems a little...new to all of this.

This looks badass, I mean, the older Tomb Raiders never played like this, so you can tell this game is pulling from Uncharted, which is fine. Uncharted is my favorite series, and to play a game that looks as awesome is welcomed by me.

Unfortunately, I never had a chance to play Tomb Raider when it originally came out. I was young, stupid, and a Sega fangirl. Everyone says that Uncharted reminds them of Tomb Raider and I loved the Uncharted series. It has been so long since the first Tomb Raider game came out, but I think I am ready to try the original and the new one to see why Lara was the queen of the PS era.
Wasn't there a Lara Croft game on the dreamcast?
