Everyone saying Uncharted copied Tomb Raider or Tomb Raider copied Uncharted, please STFU!
I've played every Tomb Raider game and every Uncharted game and I can tell you they are nothing alike, other than they're both awesome.

Sending Postcards From A Plane Crash to be honest though, tomb raider was around longer than Uncharted. I agree with you that they haven't copied off each other, but to honest, Uncharted is great for its character development and attachments. Tomb Raider hardly changed except for the Reboot where we are given a more younger, introverted, insecure and naive Lara Croft. Still though, if she and Nathan met I'm sure she can handle him in a battle of wits. A physical fight, that's a different story since Nate isn't really the Guerrilla warfare type and doesn't exactly plan ahead like Lara does (reboot I mean, if was old gen Lara, he'd have a chance). But yes, they are awesome games in their own right.

But at their core, their appeal was completely different until the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot.
This game was my mission for the PS4. I was hunting for it since I got my PS4 bundle! Totally love the graphics upgrade and a brilliant game! Best Tomb Raider I have ever played!

Just played Rise of the TR on the X1X in 4k and it blew my mind away. Just got this for 7 bucks. Never payed attention to TR before but I'm a fan now. Even went to see the film!
Easily one of the best Tomb Raider games yet, and was easily my top game of 2013. Lots of fun, but whether I would get it again for my Xbox One when I still have it on 360? Maybe. It would have to drop in price dramatically though. Great game though, no doubting that. I wish some more games would do this and bring out definitive editions for the new consoles.
I waited till it was like $20 to buy it for my PS4. There was no way in hell I was paying $60 for a game I'd already played, even if Lara Croft is in it.
Won't be picking it up personally as I've already played it through twice on 360. Great purchase for anyone yet to play it though.
Bro had to be 12-13 this was my first tomb raider and I got hooked. Haven’t really checked out the others but this game here is dear to me.
i don't get it: why is everyone complaining about the definitive edition? it's basically a game of the year edition with better graphics. and nobody complaines about those even when they cost also 60€. and at last nobody forces to buy it again, it's your own decision. so stop complaining about crystal dynamics just wabnt to make money with a game which already came out last year.

I want to buy it again, but my only concern is whether or not it will have the DLC I purchased. I know it won't transfer over, but they said that some DLC is in the Definitive Edition. I only bought costumes and a silenced pistol, but still. I don't know if I want it if I feel like I wasted money on the DLC previously.

This reminds me so much of some scenes from the Uncharted series. I'm not saying that it's a copy, no, this is a Tomb Raider game and nothing else; fans will easily tell the differences and won't start to point fingers around like most people do.
From what I remember, Lara used to be some sort of big breasted treasure hunter chick, with dual pistols that roped mass numbers of male audiences back in the 90's. Now she just reminds me of Nathan Drake when I look at this or any other kind of trailer related to this reboot. But this is just my opinion.

+Pamela De Nicolo the logo is always the same and if the game or movie contains one of those it gets that rating. the logo is just showing what a M rated game CAN contain.

SE were smart, they were like "Next Gen doesn't have a lot of games to play, lets revamp the graphics on TR and sell it for $60" -___- $40 would have been a bit better than $60....

Can't believe they're charging 60 bucks for it. They didn't even care about the people who bought it day one.
It is obviously they are targeting those who have not played the original version from 2013 and to those who are trying to fill their next gen library, perhaps some graphics whores too. Since this is HD remastered version, the price will drop rather fast within few months time.
I really don't like what they did with her face, she looks much more fictional now, it's a shame really that was something I really liked about the non-definitive edition was the character design of Lara, she looked normal.

Apparently in the eyes of Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics, definitive means exactly the same game. Seriously, what is the point of this version? You want Tomb Raider, then get either the PC, PS3 or 360 version.
Both this and Resident Evil 4 Ultimate Edition for PC are shaping up to be 2 of the most pointless releases of 2014.

i dont care what anyone says but no game is worth 50 quid in my eyes not one.and this game here is not worth 50 bar especially as it is nearly 1 year old with xtra detail save your money it will be on ps plus in 3 months if know 1 buys.
You do know that most games nowadays costs millions to make, years to develop, and the the development team comprises of upwards of around 50-100 employees?

+jeremy kampman I have played about 15 hours of this game and I am happy to report that I did't find any nudity in this game at all. Only lot's of blood for sure, but that don't disturb me at all.

man...tomb raider is a 1996 game...if one of them is a copy, sure its not tomb raider....
Games got a cinematographic construction because they can do that now not back in the 90's....
I don't think you quite understand just how popular this game was. 99% of my friends own this game and are yet to say even a single bad word about it. It won roaring success with new fans and old fans alike, aced every single review with ease, was proven to be one of the must have titles of 2013. I fail to see how this game 'failed' in any stretch of the imagination. I guess you don't have very good business acumen?
If Naughty Dog thinks that this game copied their mighty succesful franchise then I'm sure they'll put their word in. They don't need YOU to speak for them.
