Did you do any actual testing and lab results or did you just put together a bunch of garbage 🗑 i can repeat myself in a few minutes?
This video was made to get you to buy oil thru the links provided so the author can make money on commissions, the author knows nothing about oil.
I tried Royal purple and it made my engine knock from what sounded like the bottom end. Only until I switched the oil did it stop. Went to pennzoil and she is quiet now.
2011 f150 5.0 200k
Honestly royal purple is really good been using castrol edge and Mobil for long time noticed when I hit the gas the oil temps hits a little high then hit normal temps basically going up down but the royal purple feels like it keeps the engine temps cool if you accelerate the engine temps doesn’t even go up it’s crazy
seems like a commercial.
My exact thought also.
Any data to back that up besides what you read on the labels?
if one does not change their own oil, utilizes an oil changing service, who will put in the best oil, what company should be used? THANKS
I would probably go with the Royal purple HPS 5W-30, or the Valvoline extended protection or they’re all new restore formula for Pennzoil ultra platinum
#1 Amsoil
#2 Pennzoil ultra platinum
#3 Valvoline Advanced
tried Amsoil and not impressed Pennzoil ultra initially great Castrol edge FANTASTIC
Its sounds like a commercial, which is based on faulty testing or no testing
I use castrol gtx high mileage for v6 altima wth 447,000km. Change every 5,000km.
Always had good experiences with Valvoline not so good with Mobil 1
I got 755,000 miles on a Ford focus with mobile one I have 258,000 miles in 2 years on a Ford fusion with mobile one
works for me
What happened with mobil 1?
Mobil 1 is the best
Royal Purple is the top thats what we use on our oils drills in the oil field got to keep it running constantly think about that trillion $ company
They use mud to cool not oil buddy
someone sold out,, this list is total BS, yet hes not deleting comments.. so who knows.
Is this an ad or actual comparison? How the heck does Amazon basic get rated in front of Pennz and Purple? I suspect Amazon Basic is same as Supertech and Costco.
This is AI generated content. No effort putting this together.
The best? High performance lubricants, driven, redline, and amsoil.
Valvoline VR1 is tough beat too.
@@williamrice4608 vr1 has nothing on the ones I listed.
synthetic oil is for people or for your car???
Mobil 1 Extended Performace is the absolute reigning, King. These tets dont tell the whole story.
Mobile 1 is what I use sup syn 5 w30 not high mileage and never go beyond 5 thousand miles 7000 is really to long
I USE ROYAL PURPLE XPR
Yep that better then amsoil on testing
@@kevinmclaughlin2606 perfect. For me, Royal Purple XPR Is the Best engine oil
I use the same but the last batch was brown colour and not purple!
@@ThanasisGR no problem. because It clean the engine
@@user-gj8ok7ub2tYou don't understand, was brown colour from new , without use!
No tests.
Just reads the advertising on the labels.
What about Ravenol?
And what about Addinol?
You didn’t mention liquid molly
Royal Purple is the best.
Do people actually go 10k/20k miles between changes? 😅
👋
That’s madness
Yes, i. 10.000 yes, 20.000 no.
I change mine every 5000 so equals out to almost monthly!
And that’s with full synthetic been using royal purple thinking about switching to shafffers
You failed to mention the VERY BEST SYNTHETIC OIL on Earth, for which there is no competition. AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES. You're Welcome.
No scientific basis. OTOH, I run Amsoil. They claim the oil is good for up to 25,000 miles. I'm sure that is with all highway driving. I ran it 18,500 miles in my Highlander. I then drained the oil and sent a sample to Blackstone Laboratories. The report said the oil was good for more miles and had minimal amounts of metal meaning that very little wear was taking place in the engine.
What does "fully" mean in fully synthetic. Typically means hydrocracked base III refined crude. Very little true synthetic with grade IV or V bases. BTW, this video is just marketing tripe. No technical information.
Being using Castrol as long as i can remember ,
Did you do any actual testing and lab results or did you just put together a bunch of garbage 🗑 i can repeat myself in a few minutes?
Reading off advertising labels is not very scientific...
...AND who is rating these? based on what? Not saying they aren't good oils , I used almost all of them with amazing results , but you can't compare 0W-20 to a 10W-30 and say this is 2nd place and this is 4th..I call this BS,maybe some sponsors involved here???
Gm on. Corvette mobile oil at factory
AMSOIL is the best for me
Castro is the Best
Pensoil by far no comparison
Way cheaper at Canadian tire.
Any Best of Synthetic Oil test that doesn't include Amsoil cannot be trusted at all.
AMSOIL beats all of these. Easily!
Would not recommend mobile1 if your car recommends dexos that stuff is super expensive and breaks down pretty fast
Yes, trust the British voice...
Marketing BS!
You go by the service interval as stated in the owners manual. No car manufactuer is going to approve 10,000mi - 20,000mi. oil change.
Wrong. The Magnuson-Moss law prohibits manufactures from voiding warranties as long as the oil is warranted for 10K, 20K etc. I run AMSOIL Signature Series which is warranted for 25,000 miles or 1 year & change my oil & filter once each year. Do some research before posting your comments!
@@ProPhotographer You will have a hard time making a claim if you have not followed the manufactuers recomendation regardless of the Magnuson-Moss Law.
It's been done many times.....successfully. The law is the law.@@markwarnberg9504

BMW recommended OC intervals of 15k miles with Castro syntec.
you lost me when you mentioned Amazon Basics is # 2 🙃
Best one isn't in the list.... Stupid advert
But royal purple 5w20 isint dexos approved?
I will stick with the legitimate oil testing videos, thank you just the same.
No tests. No meaning
Where are the specs, where are the lab tests? The video is pointless. Half of these oils are made with hydrocracking... It's not synthetic oil, it's semi-synthetic one...
It's the same oil in different bottles.
Absolutely not! Do some research before posting such ignorant comments!
@@ProPhotographer I make it.
Oh really? You work at AMSOIL in Superior WI?@@anarchistangler
Oh really? So you work at AMSOIL in Superior, WI?@@anarchistangler
amsoil is better.
Avoid oil ..take the tube mate...
Ah yes take the subway or tube. I think the closest one to me is about 2000 kms away. Unfortunately some of us live in the real world mate.
😂
Do not use these sticky synthetic oil for your vehicle
Amazon basics does not have synthetic base oil. And in no way is it better than Valvoline & Pennzoil. It’s comical you show Liqui Moly when it’s not on this bs list. Where’s the testing numbers that support your conclusions?
Waste of time. Dude just read off the labels and did zero actual testing himself.
No science here LOL?
Stole project farms thumbnail!
ROYAL PURPLE IS THE BEST OIL
what a joke this guy is stick to projeck farm
Not buying valvoline ever again since it's not American anymore.
That's interesting. Valvoline isn't American anymore
Royal Purple is the best.
Royal Purple is the best.
