Bruh, for reals. I was in the trumpet section (ya know, the one that can't always tell the difference between ppp and fff😂). We only had like two bass clarinets, one oboe, and one piccolo flute, so everyone had at least some degree of respect for those who played those instruments, haha.

Band kids. I see the goofiness hasn't changed much. Anyway, take care of that clarinet boy, you don't know how lucky you are to have it.

If you're wondering why the bass/contrabass clarinets look like saxophones, that's cause they were designed by the inventor of the Saxophone, Adolphe Sax. 🎷
The modern Bb clarinet was a redesign from Adolphe Sax as the original clarinets were crap
The alto clarinet, bass, and contrabass are literally the grooviest clarinet

Even normal soprano clarinets feel quiet with low notes
But try tenor sax and you’ll be in a whole new world of groove

Ok I wouldnt say alto
