00:26 Malpractice (Faith No More)
05:04 Hollywood Squares
09:59 Pig Latin

20:20 When Good Dogs Do Bad Things

I'm always impressed at every generation of DEP's accuracy and precision when they play live. They truly give bands no excuse to play poorly live.
110%.
All while going off. Progressive/techincal metal bands standing still have no excuse
Итс вандефул!!❤
he does this live all in one take and he can still talk
The fact that this actually happened warms my heart. Truly epic.
Side Note: Calculating Infinity era Dillinger is my shit. 43% Burnt still gets me throwing bows at 35 years old
calculating infinity IS dillinger imo. and 43% burnt is their anthem
YOOO, i saw them at their supposed "last show" in LA around '16. and yea after so many years of shows and playing em i never do the pit anymore, but when that opening riff of 43% happens, i lost my shit and almost my glasses too lol. the pit is for 20 somethings really lol, im twice that now
Mike Pattons one of the living legends of rock music. DEP can match him. What a great combination!
I feel like sometimes people just glaze over MP performances with just, of course its awesome it's MP. But can we just take a moment and behold the absolutely insane things he was doing on the intro of WGDDBT?!?!?!?!
HOLY FUCK THIS IS THE GREATEST FOOTAGE OF ANYTHING EVER
That cover of Malpractice is awesome
Technically not a cover. Love it still.
Mike Patton with DEP covering Apex Twin is the best thing ever!
i cannot fucking believe this footage is 20 years old now
I was at this show and it's still one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Massive Patton/FNM/DEP fan so this checked all the boxes
I think I always liked Chris Pennie that most out of all the DEP drummers. The guy is a wizard but I didn’t realise how really stripped back his kit is. There’s not a lot there compared to some.
I lost all interest after Chris. He and Ben together made this band, and no one else ever made Dillinger music after him, imo. Best ever! And Mike, omg!!!
JFC that was brutally amazing. Mike's vocals are unmatched
This video quality is great! Much clearer than what’s been up on YT before. Sometimes when Mike is thrashing around on stage with his hair flying, he looks like an exceptionally angry Muppet.
Happy Mike got to do Malpractice without Jim Martin sulking about how he hated it. Don’t get me wrong love Jim and the Angel Dust version!
Jim was checked out by Angel Dust anyway. Dude wanted to write more funk songs and the band picked the wrong dude for that haha.
He called Angel Dust gay disco 🤷♂️
Which is funny considering Mike Patton hated angel dust 😂
Mike Patton is a GAWD. Between him and Daryl Palumbo I can’t choose a favorite lyricist/vocalist. Thank you for blessing us with this upload! Feels like I was there when listening to the audio quality 👌🏽
yes, Daryl is very Mike Patton influenced.
This video is old enough to drink in the US! Only Problem with this album is its an EP needed to be a full length. Imho its the best Dillinger album and this vid is basically a time capsule, for that we all thank you as this will probably never happen again.
dude mike patton is the fuckin man.
TREMENDOUS. thanks for uploading this, ive never seen this footage ever! i mean Greg has done a stellar job after Demitri, but i always kinda wished Patton became the new vocalist beyond the ep... but hey, pretty busy guy , and Greg obviously is very inspired by Patton anyway so it all made sense really
I have Irony is a Dead Scene on CD but I never knew they did a live set.
dude you were awesome with All shall perish
They did it twice
Yeah I have the CD as well, I've only seen maybe one other video of them doing this with Mike.
Thank you very much for this! Great audio quality, finally!
thank you so much for uploading this.
Super......, thx
awesome to see some better quality, more complete footage of this show. watched the other recording many times. One of my favorite time capsule performances
Love everything Patton has done but the album he did with Dillinger is by far my favorite. An absolute masterpiece of madness.
I dont know what i like more vocals or instruments.hes realey going crazy im going vocals man thats cool
Fire fire fire, JT at the end too! hahahaha
Amazing job with the recording of this 👏🙌👌👍
I didn't know there was a soundboard recording of this!!! Made my fucking day!
I’ve been wanting this upload in good quality for YEARS!! Thank you sir you are a CZcams Angel 😇
Thank you so much. Only had the MP3 of the Justin Timberlake song with the honey throated girl saying "Oh my god it's Justin Timberlake. Oh my god." And her boyfriend trying to get a beer or something. You all know it right?
Dude almost lost his drumstick in Hollywood Squares. Wow.
When Good Dogs do Bad Things was perfect. Love it
Indeed. Masterpiece
How'd I go my whole life and miss this PERFECTION?!?! I fell down Mike Patton's hole and ended up in GLORY!!! ❤☠️
DUDE. This has to happen again! DEP please get back together and tour with MP again :)
Saw them with Mike and it's next level to anything else afterwards dep did
Only a fan s opinion here
Not to take away from whoever thinks otherwise
It did happen again. NYE 2022 I think? wasn't nearly as tight and energetic as this though
GAME OVER, YOU WIN
GAME OVER, I WIN
met mike after a fantomas show in denver in early 2000s. amazing.
Didn’t happen
@@itsMrNobleyou must be fun at parties
Thank you for this video
What a fine, fine show ❤
Nobody plays like Chris Pennie! Miss this guy a lot
Chris Pennie 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best sounding one yet
Dillinger is lucky they got Mike Patton in his prime to help them here
Increíble
Thanks a lot !!
Outstanding
yes
i cant believe it has been so long
Yes
Malpractice is so fucking brutal with DEP
I’ve always been aware of this video but somehow missed that FTM cover.
Mind fucking blowing
Im high on Angel Dust jamming out.
Best set ever
Amazing.
❤️🤘🏻 THANK YOU!
That was fucking dope
Thank youuuu!!
Chris and Mike are an earthquake....
19:18 Patton "Some body's having a happy New Year... Les Claypool is playing down the street you're at the wrong show my lady. Or, maybe she was after the String Cheese Incident."
Crowd goer "We still love Les! There is nothing you love more than Les"
Patton "NO, Your'e wrong my friend, but if you give me a beer I will fuck ya"
Best intro to WGDDBT ever and classic MP banter. I kinda thank the lady now for that responce.
Chris Pennie is absolute beast
Gil Sharone nor Billy Rymer could even touch him, Chris was "the best they ever had" lol.
So good
Drummer is a fucking mad man
Good stuff!
Hell yeah this sounds like metal Zappa
Bro wake up it's 2003
miss that time...
Huh more like 1994 shn this first song was first released. How ahead of his time was Patton with FNM
@@buckemptier malpractice was released in 1992, probably made that song around 1991
Big business og and the rest the beast in us all smoke please
great escape
19:22 Lmao
❤⚔❤🤜💥🤛❤⚔❤
That build up at 17:00
😳 like i dont think he went to studu but knows atleast 3 languages😳
Any chance of making a WAV download of the audio for jamming in my headphones/car???
Buy angel dust
@@buckemptier already got it my dude. One of my absolute favorite records.
What was Mike referring to with the string cheese incident?
Probably the band called The String Cheese Incident
sell me your bones
Ah exploring music back then. Mike was the gateway drug to all the harder stuff. The first dep album and ep... mike actually destroyed them, they were never as good with puicato
Idk about that “Miss Machine” was amazing.
I strongly disagree. Their idea of dynamics clearly was set with this EP and that's why I love it but I also love that they didn't just tried to replicate this with Greg and went their own way. You may disagree but stuff like Option Paralysis and Ire Works are at the level of this.
Miss Machine was good, everything after that was straight garbage
@@Yah_Mean Even at the time M Machine was being described as 'Patton for people who don't like Patton.' The EP is astonishing, and it was undeniably their peak (even if the Aphex cover was shit.)
@@Yeomannn that's false. Ire Works was great.
