We have two separate looks in this one...a WARM and COOL look for those that like to change up their wig colors, (or clothing) to suite their mood. These tips will help you pull it off beautifully!

Not sure how I stumbled up on you but I am so grateful that I did! Someone who understands the struggles of us older women with make up and hair. You have shared so much of yourself and your technique is so good... just the help I need. I am 64 and I am fighting it for all I’m worth. So refreshing to find someone who actually knows how to do make up on mature faces. I have very similar fair skin.

Thanks Jill! This was very helpful. I often struggle with “warm color palette” as my skin tone is cool / medium. If I go too yellow/ peachy my skin looks orange! But I love those colors too! I will have to experiment. I love “IT” cosmetics!!! Used to be a “Bare Minerals” girl till my skin got too crepey to handle it. 😞 Happy Mothers Day!💐

Hi Debbie! Happy Birthday!! I think we all are....just keep hydrated and focus on humectants (if you live in a humid environment ...they will REALLY be fabulous) and light lipids (to seal in the humectants) in your products around you eyes. (peptides never hurt either). ;)
Jill Lynn Beauty Therapy I know about peptides but what product line has humectants and lipids. I use a variety of Timeless and ordinary products but couldn’t find one with those specific ingredients
Great use of warm lighting in this video!! The first bunch I viewed, as a newbie sub, were so bright and washed-out. While binge-watching your vids today, this one jumps out with more "natural" lighting that is lovely to view; the expectations for colors and shades is also more dependable.
A lovely comparison of the warm and cool looks, and interesting how the finishers can change the whole look. I can now use up some of my Bare Minerals finishers to create different looks.

Wow! I’ve been watching your videos for about three weeks now--the beginning of my wig journey! My granddaughter’s going to help me with make up, I just sent her this video. I know when one is younger, they don’t need as much. I’m anxious to see what she says. You are so incredibly beautiful. (Before and after the make up). It’s so wonderful that you share these tips with us. I haven’t worn make up since I had to stop working because of a disability. Time for me to start Taking care of myself again.. I've been wanting to try blonde wigs but I've been told over and over that blonde will wash me out and make me look older than my 72 years. My complexion is a bit ruddy, my bio hair is mousey brown, but my face shape is very much like yours.
Lynne Wilson Oh don’t listen to those people! I think going lighter as we get older is very brightening and softening to our complexions. Makeup (and it doesn’t have to be much) does make a difference on pulling off the shade of blonde (or any color for that matter) . I hope you will find these helpful, and that you get inspired to sit and play a little with your makeup looks! 😉
Amazing! I was astonished to learn that you are my age, I would have guessed you were mid 30s. WOW! I haven't taken the best care of my skin over the years, lots of tanning bed and sun exposure and now it shows. Anyhow the are the absolute best with these makeup tutorials and wigs as well. I'm especially going to attempt the eyeshadow application in the warm look, I have very hooded eyes and when I go up and over too far it just doesn't work on me, maybe because my eyes are small. Thanks! You are just gorgeous and you present so very well!

Ignite is my go to wig I love her i always get her in Laguna Blonde my fave, i just purchased one in the malibu 12fs12 just to try something new , im hoping its not to dark it always looks so difffetent in every review i find, ive been trying to order palm springs it always on back order. Jill thank you so much! I have transitioned from Chocolate Cherry to Malibu Blonde and love the hair but I can’t seem to be ok with makeup. I am more cool neutral so that is the makeup I have. However, now you make me want to get my. Ignite in Palm Springs!!!
I am obsessed now with Palm Springs Blonde! haha! Unfortunately, every one else seems to be as well because it is sold out in just about every JR style! oye! I feel so bright, and cheery in that color! LOL If you want a very bright light blonde that is on the warmer side, I hear Venice blonde may be a good choice. I want to try that one as well....but, it's also sold out in many of the styles I am interested in.
I, too, want full coverage with a 'wash color'!! Also, so many palettes have very little to offer in a wash - we need MORE! It's always gone well before I've tapped into much of other colors. I'm pale in complexion - similar to you - and I'm always searching for some simple color to go with palettes. Frustrating when I've spent so much on the big palette already . . .

Hi there! I am fair w/ a slight yellow undertone. I generally have always gravitated toward warm tones in my clothes and makeup...but, lately I am loving the cooler, platinum blondes so have had to think more on the neutral/cool side! ha!

In general....yes they are not the norm for CZcams Standards. This one is extra long though because I show two complete looks.
