trooper. was a fantastic reaction. there was one other reactor i saw catch the rain reference, but it blew me away because they caught "turns a saint into a sinner, a child into a killer, with his finger on the trigger of the money game. rain rain rain rain". its like this entire song was expounding on that single section of MG1. And now ill never listen to MG1 the same way again.

Welcome to being a Renegade....been listening for months...it all starts with Hi Ren then down the rabbit hole. I'm a poet and musician and did I say I'm 71 years old? Ren touches my soul...his lyrics...what can I say. I talk nonstop to my therapist about Ren. He is an exceptional artist and I never understand the one's who don't get him. They are drifting out of my circle...one by one. I want his vinyl...soon...still have speakers up to my chin. Lost my daughter and husband recently. They would have loved Ren. Your reactor video is heartfelt as well. A true Renegade my friend.

Thank you for your genuine and heartfelt reaction. Money Game Part 3 is, in my opinion, Ren’s best work to date, and the bar he previously set was already incredibly high to begin with. It is an amazing and thought-provoking piece of performance art. At the beginning of Jimmy’s life, “one year old and his first words were’ mine, mine, gimme’; two years, old he was walking; three years old, walking quickly; four years old he was running around the pavement of his city. Then, “40 years old, and he cursed the words ‘mine, mine, gimme’; 41, he wasn’t walking; 42, not walking quickly; 43, never running around the pavement of his city.” ROM (@ROMsquad) during their reaction pointed out the irony that Jimmy was focused on chasing wealth and fame only to lose his ability to run as a result.
The violins and cello (for me specifically the cello, I love it) really drive home the seriousness and sadness at that point in the song. Was looking forward to your reaction and wasn't disappointed at all 💜💜😊

I haven't finished yet, but I am fully enjoying every minute of this video. I don't understand why creators worry about videos being too long. I enjoy the time I spend with you, hearing your opinions...especially when it comes to something like this. I want to share time with people experiencing this, since we can't all physically be together. This is a Ren concert, happening slowly over time. I'm rambling, but mean to say thank you for every minute of your video. :)

But, I wouldn’t not have RENs music in my life. At 68, I’ve found pleasure in music again, it# a delight to know there’s still real poetry & musical genius out there. Jimmy was a tragic figure. I felt terribly sorry for him. He never got his dad's approval, and he had no meaning, no purpose in his life beyond making wealth. No love, no friends no spiritual life. And YOU dear man, I love that like Ren, you are an empath. It's hard to feel others pain so keenly, but it is beautiful too. As Ren would say, "be well within yourself !"

Trooper. I saw a young girl getting stopped for shoplifting Dec. 23. She was so terrified. You could see the panic and fear in her tiny body. I was absolutely heartbroken.

As for this masterpiece…Phenomenal!! The piano…the strings…the details!! When Ren is in the chair and he said the part about the hand in the cookie jar, take more than you need…it took my breath away. He is magical, and this is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life!

When the car beeped and you told it to shut up, then paused... and appologized to the car. That is why I come back here 😊. You dont hold back your emotions. But you always try to express them in a kind and gentle manner. This video definitely had me frazzled while watching it and I might have lashed out at a random car horn if it interupted me also 😂 but it was the pause and the appology after is what really sets you apart as a kindhearted person. This video was and still is a hard one for me to get through. I dont like guns and when he gets to the end and is casually waving the gun around I have a very visceral reaction to that. And yeah... the waterworks start about half way through the music video for me also.

I have to share something with you. My mother was raised during the depression time and she always used the phrase grocery trading instead of grocery shopping because that is what they did years ago. They traded things for groceries.

Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite one take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, as the 'rain machine' was being tempermental. :) Yet another incredible and masterful performance from Ren and overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)

I was teary eyed as soon as he was "unmasked" and perplexed as the story was revealed of the life of Jimmy. This is awesome! Another trooper here - waited to watch your reaction until I had time to properly sit down and appreciate it - and so glad I did. Another beautiful reaction - when it comes to Ren, never hold back the tears as that is a huge part of the experience it seems - I've lost count of the times I've wiped tears away.
The writing through the whole song is sensational but when the strings kick in, they transcend to an entirely new insane level.
I struggle to get my head round how Ren can see centuries old human behaviour and society throughout the world, completely deconstruct it and smash it to pieces then proceed to hold a mirror up to us the viewer and the world at large so we can see the damage we are doing and the dangers that lie ahead - and then lead us to a possible solution - in the space of NINE minutes.
They should be teaching "the works of Ren" in all educational establishments.

I felt exactly the same the first time I watched this! So many chills and emotions. This is a complete masterpiece. Ren is so incredibly talented, especially having written the lyrics, piano, strings and everything for this piece. Such a gift to the world. Unlike some of his other work this one didn't move me to tears and I was unsure about the 'classical' music at first but it really is growing on me. Ren wrote all of the music for this including the orchestral parts. He said he practiced quite a bit to get the piano intro right. He also said that this isn't precisely a one take, it has a single cut in it, but it had to due to some logistics and time constraints. He explained it all in his Twitch live stream after the video dropped. He's really proud of this one, and should be. It's another great example of Ren's pure musical ARTISTRY.
The greatest sculptures in history were created slowly, persistently, over a long period of time, one small chip at a time. Chip, chip, chipping away. Ren's illness is the marble, his musical artistry is the chisel...and look at the masterpieces he's now created. A modern day musical Michaelangelo forged through fire....and the world is better for it.

We are all troopers 😼 Never apologize for a long reaction to Ren. I bet many people didn’t think he could top Hi Ren, but MG3 is incredible! It could easily be a theatrical production. No one tells a story quite like Ren.
I love that he doesn’t just villianize Jimmy … Ren moves us to feel compassion for him. Generational trauma impacts people of all socio-economic levels. But it’s a cautionary tale for all of us. It’s too easy to get swept up in the various aspects of the money game.
