I actually liked this scene; this is the Franky I wanted to stick around. The vengeful, angry Franky getting close to her breaking point. But then instead of going in any interesting route, they just made Franky and Mini Kiss And Make Up and turned Franky into a manipulative, bordering-on-bully herself.
Ironically after Grace's death, Franky started lashing at anything moving. Both angry at the world and herself. Luke had beating men up with her bare hands. Her unhealthy obsession with Mini's baby stemmed for her own abandonment issues and lack of a mother figure.
@@Senate300 Yeah her rage in the beginning episodes were justified, but as she show went on she just became unlikeable and unreasonably cruel. It's understandable why she changed so much, but it doesn't make it any more bearable to watch.
@@theangelproductions True. The changes in fashion was understandable but the change in character came out of nowhere in the worst way. You should see Dakota Blue Richards postcast interview with April Pearson(Michelle Richardson of Gen 1) on Instagram and here. She basically validated every low opinion we had on how her character turned out in season 6.
Agree, Franky in his early scenes had a lot of potential, the acting with the: "fuck you, FUCK THEM ALL!" is so good, that scream that she throws in the hallway... i've seen screams like those in schools, just pure rage, that music and percusion in the background getting to climax, as you said, getting close to her breaking point, adrenaline, incredible, lot of potential.
Really can’t tell if the writing’s bad or if the acting is...

Seasons 5-7 really were a skeleton of what the show once was. Compare this to, say the scene with Chris and Jal in the graveyard in Season 1 and it's both laughable and quite sad.

aBeingSarcastica Idk, I love skins but gen 3 wasn’t as bad as people claim. Sure, it could’ve been better, especially since characters like Rich, Liv and Mini really came into their own as the two seasons progressed. Franky was ruined, her and Mini should’ve been together. There are certainly aspects of the first 2 gen that pale in comparison to gen 3, saying gen 1 and 2 were pristine perfect is messy.

Call it a weak gen but notice how this starts off problematic while the other two start off normal and happy but their lives fall apart later on. Gen 1 started lively but there were a few issues noticeable later to be developed (Cassie's eating disorder, Tony's manipulation of Sid etc.). Gen 2 started off completely fine (well, besides Katie's meanness towards Emily) with a fresh new start to a first day of school but shit really goes down later on. This one immediately opens with Frankie having a hard time
