My favorite line from the episode "For the Future" was Luz expressing herself and saying that she wanted to be understood. Not sure if that is her deepest wish since her palismen hatched
It should be. Even I felt the same way, that I also want to be understood. When I watched that moment, that exact quote that luz said, just went through/lit a spark... in my soul
I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be since she wasn’t sure what she really wanted deeply.
To me, it was such an obvious line that never needed to be stated to the audience: Everyone who's ever been a teenager knew this about Luz on episode one. But it's important for kids and teenagers to connect those dots and understand themselves that parents need to make an effort and teenagers need to reach out to meet them halfway. That's a near impossible task at times.

This show has great themes of friendship, acceptance and neurodivergence. I still love the line that Luz said that all she wanted was to be understood. It’s very heartwarming. I’m autistic and I can relate to Luz Noceda
The themes in the owl house are amazing and I wish we could have gotten more of the show, there were so much many more themes they could gone into!
I'm autistic & ADHD & just found Luz so relatable and that line brought a tear to my eyes. It is the wish of every neurodivergent person the world over.

My favourite line was from the first episode, it’s specifically a king line: “Try to catch me when I’m covered in grease! I’m a squirmy lil fella!” That line is ICONIC
The Owl House is going to go down as one of the best cartoons of the 2020s without a doubt. What shows like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls were for the 2010s, The Owl House will be for the 2020s. Decade defining show.
It's still pretty early to go that high but one thing for sure...

My favorite line in the show is definitely when Luz said that all she ever wanted was to be understood. More specifically, be understood by her own mother.
Yes that line speaks volumes to so many people especially since the generational gap between parents and kids can often make building a great relationship with parents and being understood by them harder

My favorite lines of the show The Owl House is that Luz telling Amity that her future is cool if she was in it and asking her out. The times when Luz and Amity kissed on the checks and then in Clouds on the horizon when they kissed. When Luz told his friends helping belos meet Collector and her friends were not mad and never hated her and the fact that Luz still stranded up for them was enough to Amity and Luz’s friends too. When Amity told Luz that things are scary and I don’t know what the future holds but it would so cool if she was apart of that. Finally for the future when Luz said that she just wanted to be understood.

All honestly I see luz being Nerodivergent and in thanks to them it litterally talks about it. About being different, hyperfixating on something you love and want to write assignment on it as you know the ins and outs of a subject.
The animation is beautiful love the magic idea inspired by real magic the way human uses. Inspired my tv series more. The owl house has helped me through my depression. It was the only thing I looked forward to. I never been this hyperfixated on a animation since voltron. I thought I wouldn’t be able to replace or find another voltron.
My favorite line "Nooo! my weak nerd arms" This hit so damn close to home as a guy who can barely do a pull up on a good day.

The line Eda say at the end of episode 2 of everyone wants to think their special but if we waited around for some prophecy to show us we'd die waiting. Basically u can't wait around for that one thing to get u motivated u gotta be proactive in your life.
I really hope The Owl House will get a Spin-off or TV Movie of Luz and her friends having their exploration in the Human realm trying to find a way back to the demon realm for months through the Summer

Tolkien believed that children's media needs to be challenging, hence the language and themes in The Hobbit (which was originally targeted at children). Not sure if the Owl House creators learned it from him since it has been proven many times since, just sharing an interesting piece of information.
Anyway, my favourite quote is: "It sparkles and shimmers and shines and delights, I must have it for my nest!" and "You were defeated, don't get heated, get your stank face treated... I'm done, because my rhymes are depleated!" Both really funny scenes but also really smart use of language as this video said.

Honestly my favorite lines was when willow was being the Theapry friend, and ive always been the theapry friend. so seeing dana try and helps people like me struggling with it honestly is amazing.

Hunters line “you’re just going to invade his memories?!? That’s sacrolige!” Honestly made me chuckle.
I don’t know how, but I didn’t know the word “conducive” until watching Echoes of The Past, where Luz says “This place is not conducive to learning!” I can say the word has been part of my daily vocabulary ever since.
2:24 I feel like Luz on the inside and at 2:28 is how i actually express myself. I love a show that can be goofy and funny but at the same time deal with serious themes. 😤
Edit: Also *THIS* 2:38 moment hits different because this type of scene is pretty personal for me and how i describe it is that *_everyone wants to be understood because being misunderstood hurts, because you’re not being represented and you feel forgotten,invisible,and non existent_* .
If this doesn't force Disney to milk The Owl House like they do Phineas and Ferb as an apology to the fans, I don't know what will.

"There People Out There Who Won't Make You Feel Worthless, You Just Had Let Yourself Meet Them" (Amity). This line from Eclipse Lake has a deep impact on me and my way of making connections. I still consider that I don't have friends, but I guess I just need to let myself, my truly self, meet people, and I'm sure I'll find my family, as Amity and Hunter did. I'm still struggling with that.

This show taught me things without even me realizing it.
When I think of educational shows, I think of shows for really little kids like Blue’s Clues or Dora the Explorer, not The Owl House or SpongeBob. But I guess learning more words is educational too and there are also morals and lessons that kids can get out of watching them which is good, so good for them! The more that TOH gets more attention, the more that Disney has to feel more regret about shortening it.
Favorite Line: Tie between "I'm sure we'll all feel better once we punch Belos through the face. And yes I mean THROUGH the face!" and "Pizza.......BAGELS!"
As for how it's changed my life. Not only did it help me realize that I was Lesbian, but it also helped me understand that's normal, and boosted my confidence in coming out to my friends and family.
Also Luz always walks and leads in love and I feel like that's an important message too
Educational or not, I still love this show. After the series almost 5 times, I feel like the show is a part of me. The characters are like me and more.
It can be educational in a way to show not to afraid of who you are and who you want to be. (And other ways too)
I’ve always loved the line from Eda that’s “I have a right to be upset” because it really is just that and Eda has been this mother to everyone so far that she just needs to express herself for that moment

Some of the best lines that impacted me and why:
“Now eat this sucker!” When this line and the following line, “My only weakness! Dying!” made their appearance, I was stunned into laughing. I knew that as a Disney show, it would lean into the humor, but the timing was so good and I knew I was going to love this show.
“I’m feeling things I’ve never felt before…” As an abrosexual person, this struck deep. The show had already helped me a lot with accepting my identity, but a line like this with Amity recognizing her crush and the fact that she is a lesbian really struck. Not to mention the kiss scene almost directly after.
“I didn’t mean to. I thought I was doing something good!” Luz’s voice breaking in this line and the sheer horror and pain behind it… I often get into bad situations without realizing it, and the delivery of this line is almost exactly how it feels to realize that you messed up with the best intentions.

Not just queer kids, but neurodivergent kids. Luz is ADHD coded, Gus is autism coded, Hunter has ptsd. A lot of the characters are just generally nuerospicy.

The Owl House made me feel like I wasn't alone with my anxiety and autism. When I watched the first episode I felt really really happy. I'm so glad I found it.

When Camila finally accepted Luz for who she is and apologized to her. Made me realize my mom will never accept me for who I am 🙃 She may claim to but her actions are proving otherwise. That scene absolutely destroyed me when I watched the episode a few weeks back.
Once again, Disney still shows regret

The whole theme of family & acceptace is what really speaks to me. Eda ends up pretty much adopting Luz and later almost any other kid that comes near her. Camila would have adopted all of the kids if they couldn't return to the demon realm. The inclusivity of sexuality & gender is so wonderful to see. The music, especially Eda's requiem still gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it.
