    I have a far infrared heat lamp. It used instead of Moxa in acupuncture. Far infrared has a arm and adjustable height. I responded so well in session I bought my own Chinese TOP lamp. It feels like the heat one feels when in direct sun. It’s useful for muscle spasm and penetrating blood flow to heal chronic pain I have in my rotoscoliosis and bilateral hip pain.

    Thank you for the info about Thermotex. I used your promo code and purchased a platinum for my rheumatoid arthritis. I use on my ankles, feet, wrists, knees. Love it. It really helps. It’s not a heat that burns or feels uncomfortable. I keep it on my joints for hours while I work, watch tv, read, in bed. I love warmth so i also use a heated throw that I purchased at Costco for the joints that I am not using the Thermotex on. I use the Thermotex as part of my therapy. I also take supplements and eat whole foods plant based as much as possible, avoiding gluten and dairy and limiting sugar.

    If you put a hot water bottle on your muscle, it acts as a radiant heat source as well as a conductor. The hot water bottle is essentially behaving like an infrared light bulb, except it is against your skin, so in conducts as well. They are only $3

    • @equsnarnd
      @equsnarnd Před rokem

      And they only work on surface tissue. Did you not hear them discuss that the 850nm wavelength LEDs penetrate 2.36" into the muscle and joint where they stimulate NO production and mitochondria growth and up-regulate genes that deal with tissue health? You don't get that from a hot water bottle whether it costs 3 cents, 3 dollars or 300 dollars.

    Wish I'd bought one of these, instead I bought one from UTK, got it last Saturday 2/6/22, used it for two hrs for 4 days on 5th day it stopped working. Saved up to get it as I'm disabled and not employed. So disheartened.

    I have severe facial pain, and a regular heating pad burns my ears, even on low. I also have several titanium platings and screws in my face. I'm going to look into getting one of these infrared heating pads.

    Thank you. What makes this particular brand better than others. Others seem to be more pliable so as to mWold more easily also this is one of the more costly. What makes it worth the added cost?

    I bought this product on Amazon and was not impressed at all. It bothered my neck because it was so hard it was like laying on a rock! It does not bend to conform around the neck area, one can only lay flat on it. The infared heating pad was extremely expensive at $219 for the platinum model. So, it was returned. I think that there are better options out there.

    What do you think?

    I was trying to strengthen my shoulder using a resistance band. I found doing the classic external rotation exercise with the band resulted in my shoulder having impingement like symptoms the next day, especially when reaching across my body. Any idea why this is?

      Hi Laura. What was the answer. Is the IR heat pad better or gun massager?

    • @laurameng3715
      @laurameng3715 Před 2 lety +1

      @@majestic6303 The IR heat pad wasn't hot enough & was difficult to keep in place, and the Pure-wave massager didn't help much either. I got a Relax far IR sauna a few weeks ago, and I love it! It's hot enough for me to sweat, so it's muscle-relaxing & good for detox. Calming, and good for sleep if you do it at night. Highly recommend. How ironic that my post is 3 years old, and I just got my sauna 2 months ago (I got the one with the chair). Good timing for you!!
