All I can say is that these three exercises work. In about 3 months, along with a fairly aggressive diet eliminating most carbs and sugar, I went from a 40 tight waist to a 38; and then in another 3 months I am now a 36. I am down 27 lbs and look and feel a lot better. Thanks guys, you were the motivators I needed.

At first, close to 300 pounds, every time I would walk I felt like I was dying. Losing the weight makes it easier. I can easily get 30 minutes of exercise with your slider! Yeah, I still have a gut too. But I think for me it’s age and hormone related. I’ve been trying “stomach vacuums” now for the last week for about 1 min 2x a day. Not seeing much difference yet, but I’m able to tuck my stomach in now wo thinking about it. I think in the winter too my body likes to store more stomach fat, which is annoying. Haven’t gained a lbs but my stomach seems like it has a bit more fat than in the summer. Either that or I’m having some body dysmorphia 😵‍💫…

I appreciate that you tell it like it is. The foundation for losing weigh is calories in vs. calories out. And as you've pointed out, what type of calories matters! Bread, ice cream (my personal addiction, too much alcohol, etc.) have to be reduced to perhaps once a week, less often if you have a more than about 10-15 lbs. to lose. Nothing worthwhile is easy, but attaining the goal is always worth the few sacrifices. Thank you both.

Want to lose weight in a healthy way? Skip all salt and sugar and sweeteners and glutamat and artificial flavours. You'll get rid of excess water that makes your body fluffy. Big difference in one week but keep it up. Drink only water and some pure tea. Many cups a day. Make your own food from start to finish, no combinations or mixes from factories, shops, restaurants at all - also think like this: use tomatoes, not ketchup, eat frozen fruit, not ice-cream, make your home-made-dressing: one spoon oil, one spoon lime or lemon juice, one spoon water, mix with basil. Big bowl of greens and vegetables. Don't mix them, so you need to chew them (so important to feel full and to get all nutritients). Bake your own wholegrain bread: water, flour, yeast, half a tablespoon something sweet (for the yeast), and a very small sprinkle of salt. (That's the basic recipe.) Eat it with vegetables on the top of a slice. Eat oatporrige with cinnamon with a little fruit/berries for snacks and breakfast. Have a real dinner, where you know every ingredient is healthy for you. Eat till you are satisfied and go out into the open air and exercise. Sleep well and enough. Thank your lucky star for Bob and Brad!

True Joanne Cuomo....but it will tighten muscles underneath, lifting that area..the only way to get the fat out is to suck it out, tummy tuck or cool sculpt depending on the problem/issue.
If you are young enough, and have your metabolic hormones balanced, you can use diet to lose fat weight, including healthy fats and low carbs and your collagen rich skin should bounce back.
If you are older, and have lost your youth hormones, you wont have the collagen in the skin to bounce back after losing the fat. Thats where the loose skin needs to be tightened via
tummy tuck, and breast lift is usually needed too. Its called a "mommy lift" but should be called a "granny lift"!

I'd like to add that I am a 58 year-old British guy who weighed in at 15 stones in August last year. I moved to the Scottish Highlands to live with my sister and brother-in-law who are firmly on the Keto plan. My brother-in-law has lost almost four stones and now weighs about 12st 5lbs.
I didn't want to go into full ketosis as I do like the occasional hot chocolate, and the odd fish and chip supper. However, I stopped snacking, cut out chocolate, sweets, biscuits, cakes, bread, pasta and rice.
I can fully attest to the slimming power of cutting out sugar and carbs. I am now 12st 2lbs. My breathing is much easier - I no longer have sleep apnea. I find moving around is much easier, I have more energy and people are commenting on how great I look. My stomach has shrunk to a more realistic size so I no longer require big portions. My feet no longer hurt. The only drawback is that I have had to buy new clothes, but it hurts my wallet in a good way!
I have found it hardest to get rid of my belly fat, as is the problem in most men, so I find these exercises most helpful. God bless you guys, keep it up!

So glad I found you....I was fit and nifty when fifty...but something happened around ‘L5’ all crushed whilst twisting; all pressing on a bunch of nerves....after a decade of trying everything pos’ but still in persistent pain , I finally gave up whilst waiting to see a spinal surgeon... I took to cradling my spine on a memory foam mattress and waited for help...Walking was making me feel like a 90yr old...Pressure felt like a bus was parked on my back...Had another MRI scan, but the surgeon ,my light at the end of the tunnel, did NOT have a solution for me!! Feeling finally defeated by the pain. Realising I have to resolve to living with this pain...Knowing that I will struggle like a 90 year old...I know the rest of my body has taken a knock from the effect of immobility, and now I have to attempt to try and care for what I can, exercise what I can,,ie. at least I have 4 limbs. even if I have to walk on all fours ‘cos the pressure on my back is too much when upright ,I have to try ! ,So a big thank you from me...xx
