Leviathan won to me. The Star Wars theme was very impressive technically but the visual impact and visibility of components in the shark was it for me. And actually the reason I watched the video.
I personally like the leviathan too. Although the X wing had more attention to detail such as the hot air coming out of the exhaust, the Leviathan looked so much nicer and was actually practical in that you could put it in your room. PS. 1st place this year got 10k, 2nd place 5k and 3rd place 1k, the best Scratch got 3k, along with all of the winners getting about 1k worth of CM store vouchers each.
The X-wing looks very good and has some serious craftsmanship behind it, no doubt about it, but it is at the end of the day a "star wars pc mod" among millions of others you could find online. The shark was a more original build

They need to make the shark into production, and charge $800-$1000 each, and I’m sure tons of ppl will buy. Nowadays, $1000 in building a top tire pc is nothing.

Well they really aren't cheap because waterblocks actually cost a fair amount of money, it's not just a case of making the trophies himself to save money. Granted they should've actually gone out of their way to have legitimate trophies made.

That shark was pretty sweet, especially since the design was his own. I did like seeing the reservoirs being routed. Also nice touch thread milling that. I figured it would be hand tapped, but I have no idea what tapping acryllic is like. It probably just cracks.
The reason I clicked this video was that the case mod thumbnail showed this super unique and original shark, I am sure that if I saw the star wars X-Wing, I would not have clicked and watched this video... Surprised that the leviathan didn't win
Shark is better than the Ship. Pretty easy is explan: The shark has more spaces to put the actual thing, while the ship is force because of that bot (i like him tho) and the design is more complex and original.
Wow - Those "first timer" mods are pretty dang impressive. I wish I had that kind of motivation to keep working on a single project. My mind is all over the place, and I want to do all of the things at the same time. My main PC consists of a bit of paintwork on the mobo, a professionally done print on case and some colour and RGB design. And that's it. Just basic softtubing.
Mansen so many times I lost focus during stealth 5, what I did was make it so no other computer was available during the mod in my house. So I had something to look forward to, and ultimately a dream to build. 😊 just remind your self that the finished outcome is truly your trophy.
I made my current computer case, I welded thick steel together to make a mini itx case that is 3.5" x6.8" x6.7" it is the height of a waterbottle, then I bent sheet metal over the top. I7 4790t 2.7ghz 45watts runs at 3.9ghz while gaming, 16gbs ddr3 sodimm, server motherboard, amd r9 nano, m. 2 1tb ssd, 2 1tb hdds.

It'd be cool if the shark had the ability to pop-up hard drives like you would see with scales. It could work like a dock of sorts rather than have a hard drive just hanging on screws.
