Transport Fever River Valley - Allentown Passenger Line

- This is a video of the passenger line between Pittsburgh and Allentown. You are riding in a Pioneer Zephyr multiple-unit train. The video starts in Allentown right after picking up a load of passengers. First you pass through the Allentown tunnel before winding your way down to the valley. Once there you connect to the freight lines passing through Harrisburg which then lead to the pass through lanes for Harrisburg Passenger Station. Once out of Harrisburg you follow the river to the Pittsburgh Passenger Station where you drop off and pick up passengers before returning to Allentown.

I'm using so many mods it would take forever to write them all down.
If it helps. I use almost every mod available on Steam that even roughly applies to the map and date I'm using for the current video. There are a ton of mods on the steam workshop for Transport Fever. The best thing to do is look through them and pick the ones you like.
I'm also using several terrain mods (also located on Steam). The Enhanced Euro Terrain Textures Only is what makes cliffs look brown instead of gray. I'm also using the brush ground - pinceau pour sol and the Painter 1.1 mods to change the terrain.
General Tso thanks! I'd be real interested in seeing videos of you detailing your lines. I seem to be good at making money but stink at realistic detailing.
Unfortunately I stink at making narrative type videos. ;)
The best I could recommend is first get an idea what you want to do at the moment (freight yard, passenger station, city. etc...). Then start out slow and place one item at a time. Then just decide what to add next based on how things look. And make sure to look at things from different angles while creating stuff.
Other than the obvious mods such as new vehicles and buildings, there are a few mods that make doing things easier. Such as the No Cost, Level Terrain, Bulldozer, The Brush Ground - Pinceau Pour Sol, and the Painter 1.1 mods. I'm also using The Enhanced Euro Terrain Textures Only Mod to make cliffs look brown instead of gray but that's more a preference than a requirement.
Great video, can you tell me what map mod this is?
The map itself is actually a standard randomly generated map that I heavily edited using the terrain editor. Unfortunately I never wrote down the map seed so I don't have it. If you use either the "no cost" or "free landscaping" mods you can make massive changes to any map at no cost other than your time. There is also the "Flat Terrain" mod that's useful for flattening areas for things like buildings and freight yards. About the only things you can't change once you have selected your map is water (rivers, lakes, etc.) and map size.
I did use a very large number of mods for other things including changing the terrain appearance (which makes the map look somewhat different). Some of the terrain mods I used where "Enhanced Euro Terrain Textures Only", "brush ground - pinceau pour sol", and "painter". I used so many other mods that I can't list them all but you can find almost all available mods by looking through the Steam workshop for Transport Fever.
