I think it's save to say that crash 4 is impossible without spinning, one of the mask is whole gimmick is making you a literal tornado by spinning
I have a strategy for that...

@@DrRank mabye you go by something like when crash and Dr cortex fight along with aku-aku and uka-uka the fight was very chaotic during this crash accidentally hit an important panel and the 2 mask while clashing accidentally hit a few dozen important parts of the machine and because of this when crash and aku-aku leaves the machine imploded soon after. Also I have one more idea for that final challenge, what if you make the hit box of the plane in such a position that it's hit box can hit the rings on the same position minimizing the gap between turning and going up and down and potentially saving a few extra seconds this is under the assumption that you only need To get some parts of the hit box instead the whole thing.

Ah, yes, I'm familiar with ARD. In fact, I actually used that video as reference when learning how to do the glitch.

The one thing that comes to mind with crash 3 when I think spinning may cause an issue would be the Egyptian levels with the long pits that the game wants you to tornado spin to glide over

Screw what the game says this is the true lore
in the original crash 3, you get stuck in the fence if you try to exit it from the backside. Used a cheat CD to unlock the secret levels, decided to play Hang time for some reason, and since it puts you out in the 2nd warp room, I got stuck in the electric fence. I found it funny and the only way to get out was to quit to the main screen, meaning you lost the cheat you input.

In xbox one ans switch is a crash image

You know, I've never actually seen anyone try to beat crash 3 without any of the power-ups you get after defeating a boss. Maybe I might change that 🤔

I didn't beat Cortex in the Crash 2 run, and I needed to justify why Crash 3 even happens in that timeline.

9:25 , i thought that you had to slide away from and activave the coco thing at the same time, once i was messing around with the buttons on my ps4 and when i switched to cocp just as i came up from the basement, i fell off the time twister abd died, i got a game over, but uka uka was not on the thing, it was so weird and i was so scared i made three backup saves
Technically you do have to Slide and activate Coco at the same time. But the R1 button is used for both, so you're better off using that instead of O.

But then I couldn't skip N. Tropy, and I'd have to do the Item Glitch three separate times just to beat the game, which wouldn't have been as interesting.
Plus I prefer to use official hardware when doing challenge runs, and I lost track of my disc.
