Now I love Trixie to DEATH. One of my favorite queens!!! But bitch, she got SOOO lucky that 1.) Ben decided to quit, 2.) the other girls didn't vote Shangela to be in the top, and 3.) Kennedy decided to be a contemporary background dancer for Trixie
I'm a die hard trixie stan but i do agree and anyone would be crazy not to, I think Ben was the clear winner of course, but I do think trix and shangela were more or less tied behind her (in the top around the same amount of times, both massively bombed one challenge) I also don't think Kennedy's lip sync style could have taken trixie at all even if she approached it differently, before I even liked trixie I watched that lip sync and it was so moving and powerful.
@@jadecave1972 Tbf, it is still hard to know if Shangela would have won that lipsync. She showed what she was gonna do during the finale lipsync at a club once, she had a sledgehammer and a pinata. That performance might not translate well on television. Sure, Silky won a million lipsyncs using props, but it might have been a bit too much for Wrecking Ball.

yeah It's obvious that production had ZERO CLUE what to do when Dela left. I'm still convinced that the jury twist was the producers' way of shifting any blame from upset fans away from them and Rupaul and onto the queens themselves, but obviously that backfired as that's one of if not the most hated twist in the entire show's history. Whether we got Trixie and Kennedy, Trixie and Shangela, or Shangela and Kennedy, at least part of the fandom would have been mad at either the jury or production still. (imo the only way the jury worked was figuring out the Bebe situation since I'm also pretty sure production didn't expect her to go so far. So you either have to not choose her for the finale at all, which looks incredibly bad for a winner, bring her into the finale for someone else to beat her 1 on 1, which is almost worse, or let her win the whole competition when there were clearly better performers, and that would also create cries of "rigged!" from fans saying they only brought her back to give her a second crown. So in that case, the jury worked to solve one problem for production. Unfortunately for them, it created many, many more.)
