The beautiful vocals of Shona Donaldson singing "The Light of the West" during the 2023 Tarland Food & Music Festival. Shona was accompanied by Paul Anderson MBE on fiddle and Hamish Napier on keyboard and the concert was held in the MacRobert Hall in Tarland on Sunday 24th September 2023.
"The Light of the West" is a peaceful hymn of farewell composed by Paul Anderson, inspired by St. Columba and the Iona Abbey, home of the first Celtic Cross. This track is included in his album ‘In the Footsteps of Colm Cille (St. Columba)’
