Technically the same bridge but the difference is the curvature of the bridge, it's a tad smaller so playing multiple strings is easier. This isn't to say that you can't use a regular violin for fiddle-playing but the bridge isn't really made for it.

There was a "violin" there with samples of music Mr. Carver played. I noticed the fiddle had been refurbished, and mentioned that to teh docent. She was impressed, I was the only person to catch that. So she brought out the original pieces that had been replaced....and low and behold there was a flat bridge. Mr. Carver had acquired the instrument from his Uncle....who was a well known fiddler in the area! And western fiddlers put a Rattlesnake rattle in their fiddle....I have one in mine. I learned that from Cliff and old fiddler who taught me.
