@@shirleywatts99 I lived in the Bronx for the first 25 years of my life. Then Westchester, now NJ.
I lived on the Grand Concourse near Yankee stadium.
I said Brooklyn because that is what he seems to favor. There are still some decent neighborhoods in the Bronx and Queens but he never goes to either borough. SI is a bit out of the way, and I don’t know anything about it. I know Brooklyn near Manhattan since that’s where the NYC Department of Education is located. That penthouse is beautiful. Spacious rooms, full kitchen & nice large bathroom, bright, big windows, large balcony. I love that tree lined neighborhood filled with single family homes. It's crazy how much easier it is to show a space when it's staged and furnished. Seeing how you can put your things makes SUCH a huge difference! I love this building and would definitely consider renting here.

Cash pulls out the sink sprayer like a boss! The Penthouse is most definitely my favorite of the two. The size is great and compact without being a Manhattan closet. Them views from the 7th floor are money. Love the balcony, and the views from that 2nd bedroom are amazing. Also, a nice little kitchen in that second apartment. Being in that lower level unit seems a little too suburban to me with the view of them houses at eye level from your unit. That is a great building with them amenities included.

This is all the space that I'd need for an apartment (either one of them) and the fact that you still have all the amenities and are close to both mom and pop stores and larger chains, makes this perfect. And the neighborhood is quiet. The moment that was shown, I remembered how there are many from countries where living above or very close to retail spaces is normal, but I have to say, it made me a bit happier that we don't have as much of that in the U.S. since it does allow for quiet neighborhoods. I think we've taken that a bit to the extreme in the sense of still needing a car for everything unless you live in a major city with good transit, but I still think residential-only neighborhoods have some huge merits.

I grew up in NYC/Brooklyn decades ago - there were few restaurants and retail stores at the base of apartment buildings. Can't imagine all those people shopping - and the smells and trash coming from all those businesses. I took several classes at Brooklyn College - this is the same area - and it looks completely different.

There has to be a hitch. The building is fully renovated with elevator, gym, in-unit laundry, rooftop deck and potentially available covered parking. The kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms and closets are all decent sizes. The penthouse may lack a second bathroom but it has a balcony. Even if you add on another $200/month for heat and hot water, the rents are reasonable even for Brooklyn. Maybe it's far from the subway? There's a meth lab in the cellar to subsidize the cost? Before its renovation the building was infected with anthrax? Given the exploding NYC rental market, there has to be a hitch.

It's the private balcony that was the deciding factor for me. But, that $3K/month is a fantastic opportunity for 2 young professionals starting out! It's affordable and you could therefore save some money for your next move. The amenities for the building are very good although, hmm... 50Lb dumb bells... cute... That depends on how many people will be living there. You should generally have at least one bathroom for every two or three people living there. Though economic circumstances often dictate that more than three people have to share the bathroom, which with standard residential bathrooms can be a real struggle! Although, having any bathrooms at all is considered luxury for the vast majority of people around the world. Yes, over 70% of the global population still lives without electricity or running water!

Memories!! I went to Brooklyn college and knew where u were immediately! I grew up 15 min away. I used to take that bus back and forth…
When I was there the shopping center was a municipal parking lot!
I used to get my breakfast at McDonald’s before going to class.

It must be a trip being the the neighborhood and watching Cash film his different angles. Watching him go back n' forth so he can get the shot and thinking, "WTF is this guy outside my house doing?"

I've never been to New York State let alone New York City. I've only been to the northeast once in my life for a weekend about 10 years ago. I own a home in Florida so I'm not even in the market to rent and I'm still watching this stuff for some reason. After watching a mulititude of his videos I find myself saying out loud--Oh wow that's a really nice apartment! and at that price I'd be all over that-- LOL. Just speaks to the quality and content of the creator. Keep up the good work!! 👏😃

I live and grew up in East Flatbush. Actually down the block from this building. I am moving soon and I am going to miss it dearly. I had a Lord's birthday cake for all 30 years of my life. This building was actually a VERY large house as I remember. Many of the residents in East Flatbush (where this building is at, Little Haiti is more so Nostrand Ave) are older, they either passed or moved back to their country of origin. A lot of the homes here are being converted into apartment buildings.

Excellent location. Not only great shopping, but Brooklyn College and Medgar Evers College are nearby for the culture vultures.
Very nice building and apartments. The amenities in the building are great money savers. Indoor laundry is always a *big* help.
Love the kitchen. Plenty of sitting room. All around nice apartments. Closets are quite big.
Great views. I'd live in a place like that gladly.

Hey this question comes out of curiosity and appreciation not judgement but: how long does it take you to set up the street shots with your camera for the walk or biking by shots?
Ps: I’m not asking Cash to be an instructor or teach me how to do a video for CZcams. All I was expecting was a one sentence response not tech, CZcams or filming advise
