2 lbs Chicken thighs
1 can chipotles in adobo
1 lime
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp cumin, chile powder
1 tbsp ap seasoning and oregano
1/2 cup water
1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
Corn Salsa:
6 corn on the cob
olive oil
AP seasoning
1-2 jalapenos
1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 diced red onion
1/2 lemon
1 lime
Black Beans:
1/4 lb thick cut bacon
16 oz black beans
1 onion diced
1 can green chiles
ap seasoning and chicken bouillon
1 tsp oregano, cumin, chile powder
Cilantro Lime Rice:
2 cups clean rice
4 cups chicken broth
zest and juice 2 limes
1/2 cup diced cilantro
salt and pepper
Guacamole:
3-4 avocados
1 lime
2 diced roma tomatoes
1/2 red onion
1 tsp cumin, chile powder, chicken bouillon
1 tbsp ap seasoning
1/4 cup cilantro - Zábava

I think this is the answer for many of these restaurants..increasing prices for below mid food! Just eat at home, it's the best anyway

I buy food for a week or two at a time. Maybe cook 3 times a week with leftovers. End up being about around $130 a week. Damn the days where that money will get you 3 weeks worth of food 😢😢😢

I absolutely love making these bowls at home. With a family of 4, by tie we double meat and the gauc, it's like $60. I can spend $60 at home and have left overs.

With that 60 I could stretch it for 3 meals plus leftovers with my family size of 5. I feel you on that.

You can food prep all of these ingredients and freeze it for later. I broke up with chipotle as well lol
Yeah, Chipotle pissed me off, and I'm never going back. I just use copycats from Meggan at Culinary Hill's website.
I was gonna ask if these could be frozen! I’m the only one in my family that would reliably eat this so the full recipe would be too much. But knowing I can freeze it helps immensely. Thanks!

I agree! Their burrito bowls used to be $7.49/veggie bowl. Now it's like $12 and they don't give you much. I had to leave them alone and that hurts my soul. Thank you for the recipe because I will be trying this (without the meat)!!!
And the tortilla on the side used to. Be free with a bowl!!! They give the TINIEST scoop of steak it’s ridiculous. I stopped getting bowls and started getting the kids tacos! It’s the same amount of steak they give anyway lol

💯 .. with a Family of 4 those inflated prices and less product made me take my butt into the Kitchen and make it myself. That’s how I found your channel. I have not had one complaint from the fam when I make any of your recipes! Only thing I still go to the restaurant for is Sushi. Can’t master that 😂
Use a rolling mat and wear gloves cos rice is sticky. You can do it x 💪🏼

Yup, the steak was nothing to write home about 😒 was so dry. If you like seafood - spicy shrimp (use same sauce he put on the chicken) for the protein its pretty good as a homemade bowl option.

I got a bowl from ol chip a couple years back. Employee didnt drain the juice from the wet ingredients. When i got to work and opened it up, everything was drowning in juice and i didnt order a soup. I haven't been back.
Yeah, I haven't went back since manager tried to make me pay for two bowls when I kept asking for extra, extra on stuff. Yes, I was going to pay for double chicken, but he wanted to charge me for two bowls. Haven't been back.
I couldn't agree with you more...the chicken 🥣 you get looks nothing like the commercials. YOU get very little chicken and you get less guacamole 🥑. YOU are 💯 ▶️... I’ve been meaning to comment on this recipe. It’s so easy and healthy perfect for meal prep. The flavor was fantastic and directions are easy to follow.
This was right on time because my last trip to chipotle they messed my online order up😤. They gave me someone else meal and when I went back after work my order was sitting on the counter. The lady had the nerve to hand me the bag as if I was going to take it. I said I’d like it fresh and that’s when I decided no more chipotle.

I make my black beans from scratch using dry beans in an instant pot. It takes a couple of hours but my family loves them that way. I use sofrito cooked in olive oil but i like your idea of bacon grease! ❤i do add cumin along with a 1/4 cup of vinegar and other dry seasonings like oregano & bay leaf.
