We speak to security who ask us to pop into the staff entrance and let them know what we are doing.
As we walk in they are in the middle of a moment of silence so we wait and speak to them shortly after.
They wasn't happy with the drone and then a member of staff who also flies drones starts talking about vehicle registrations. This is where the conversation goes south and we leave.

As soon as I walk out my drive om filmed yet these fools believe they have some sort of power over the public filming, and where they believe they own the airspace absolutely blows my mind.

I think when you can see the camera being pointed at you, you suddenly become paranoid, but even if you know it's there but can't see it you don't worry too much about it.
You even see this with criminals in the UK if you point a camera at them they become hostile, but even if a big sign says you are being filmed they just carry on about their criminal business.
It's very odd, I don't know if that is just a UK thing or a world wide thing, but I've noticed this.
Even people taking holiday snaps, soon as you point a camera at someone and they know about it, they start behaving differently to how they were before they noticed the camera.

Trouble with a lot of these companies is that they're owned by someone else and all autonomy has been removed from them, but they don't want to admit it. They're scared of you, basically, 'cos you challenge them, and they're used to having to ask permission to throw even a sweet-wrapper away. So they get afraid for their jobs if any one of them seems welcoming.

@@kevh6948 Once they become part of an international organisation they don't necessarily have control of everyday issues any longer. That's what the IMI bit is in their name. They will likely be answerable to IMI and unless a protocol has been agreed for dealing with queries something unusual like DJ turning up they just can't handle. But they don't want to appear out of control either. Trouble is they don't realise how ridiculous they look.
Thing is these staff would end up getting sacked quite easily if their bosses find out what’s happened.

Great interaction and with a big amount of security appearing to be not naturally of British descent, they are for the greater majority very pleasant and good mannered. 7:45 Anyone can use the name of a company to sell a product. And there's nothing that the company can do about it. Once a name of a company is in the public domain anyone can use it. And they can denigrate the company or praise it in a video. The company can't deny permission to use it and they don't even need to be informed of it being used in a video.
What about making a brand which is similar to one which already exists?
I've always wondered about that.
For example:
Lidl's Tower Gate biscuits copying McVities biscuits.
Aldi's Belmont biscuits copying McVities biscuits.
Every supermarket in the country copying M&S's Colin the Caterpillar.
Local shops like Singhsburys copying big brands like Sainsburys.
And then there's local bars and shops which copy the names and style of things in a completely different industry like the lads mag ZOO, and big name fashion brands Dior (the last two examples were two companies in my city).
I don't get how they're allowed to copy someone else's brand, especially when their brand does the same thing.

Some drone flyers claim that it is auditors who will destroy the hobby. I disagree. It's drone fliers who don't know their rights who will destroy the hobby like this guy. Why? Because they won't do anything if or when regulations change.
The usa have already brought in drone scanners that read the info to identify fliers. The only reason we currently have good freedoms is because legislation has not had to time to be implemented.
