I went into the car, and Bluetooth would not connect to my phone, I forgot how I got it working before lol, I have a kenwood dvd player, your video worked got it going!! thanks!
Tip so you don't got nuts. Look up you model: top right of the radio and refer to the manual. It's got the solution to your pairing issues likely (that and these radios seem to vary a fair bit with their button layout). My issue was a device full on a kenwood kdc-bt652u for instance.
It’s not easy. it just plays music off my phone not through the cars speakers. I am using a iphone charging cord and my phone is an iphone 11. i have bluetooth and everything else set up. Is there a setting to fix it and change it to play out of the car and not the phone?
I have a kdc-330u that doesn't connect bluetooth media right away. It usually takes about 2 minutes or if not I have to connect it manually through my phone.
I have a kenwood radio and i have paired via Bluetooth using my iphone and it says that it is connected but the music isn’t coming out, not from my phone or the car
@@KenwoodUSA thank you so much for replying so quickly !! I will try to do so when I am again in the car and share here just in case someone has the same problem
I can hear my music audio all fine but when I receive a call I can hear the person just fine but the other person can not hear me what do I need like an adapter or something it's really a pain to keep switching from Bluetooth to speaker phone
It’s not work with my iPhone 14 pro and the music stops every time. It also happene with my boyfriends iPhone 11 Pro and I need to know what I can do. I don’t want to buy a new radio for my car
Since this receiver is 5+ years old, you will need to update the software on the receiver to improve compatibility with current phones. Many changes have occurred with smartphones over that time and since the receiver was built before they existed, updates are released to patch connection issues. You can visit our www.kenwood.com/usa/car/ and follow the Support page for all your update needs. Thanks!
After my daughter connected her iphoneX a few weeks ago... mine won't auto pair anymore, and it's a pain in the ass... Any help there? And I have already tried turning everything off, resetting, 'forget device' and repairing (20 times) and still nothing. Really frustrating.
David: Not sure what has caused this, but I suggest a true, fresh start, by performing a "Factory Reset" in the system menu itself. First, forget the receiver from your phone's paired device list. Then, change the receiver's source to "Standby", then press the volume knob and turn to "System", then turn to "Factory Reset", then select "Yes". When performed successfully, you will see the receiver power off, then power on to the initial language selection screen. Next, re-pair your phone.
Each receiver is shipped with a wired microphone. Could you let me know if you're sure it was installed with the receiver installation? If it has you should check to ensure it's plugged into the right input on the back of the receiver. Thanks!
@@KenwoodUSA well I bought the car from my mom and lil sister plus ik it’s a KENWOOD radio and it was already in the car so I honestly would t know if it has a wired microphone
@@SilentWarden93 Since the radio requires an aftermarket installation, it's possible that when it was installed the Mic was not installed properly or not at all. We recommend taking it to a local KENWOOD dealer to have it checked. They should be able to tell if there is a mic or not. The mic location is variable depending on the installer, Typically it's located near the rearview mirror or near the gauge cluster. Works for me! Thanks. I pressed the call button but that only provides test mode while pairing your phone.
