My Bluetooth stopped working out of no where, and won't search for a device, it just says "no service" and doesn't look for a device. Any help would be much appreciated
I recommend first, to delete all devices from the Bluetooth memory on the in dash receiver. Second delete the in dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth memory. Third make sure the in dash receiver is visible through Bluetooth to other devices. Make sure your phone is not connected to any other devices like a headset or portable speaker. Now search from the phone for other devices and connect to the in dash receiver. czcams.com/video/fnrtP4BPuQM/video.html or this: czcams.com/video/7HT1DNse2X4/video.html
Deckerd Otto thanks for the reply! But I'm still having the same issue that my device is not finding deh-x4800bt, and the system appears to not be sending a signal from my car. It immediately reads no service instead of searching for device
Deckerd Otto so I fixed my problem, took it to a audio shop and they said it happens with Android phones where it won't discover the device. They wiped the memory and reboot the stereo and told me to restart my phone... Restarting my phone seemed to do the trick. Thanks again for the advice!

I had an Iphone 6, and it connected fine, showed phone book and recents.. Now i have an Iphone 8, it connects but wont show phone book/recents. How do I get this to work?
I recommend to do a System Reset. You can see how to do system reset in this video: czcams.com/video/iLloPAn4y_o/video.html Next delete the in dash receiver from the phone Bluetooth memory. Next restart the phone and then start from the beginning to pair the phone and the in dash receiver. When the two are paired the phone will ask if you want to share contacts with the connected device. Be sure to select "Allow".
Garbage Bluetooth connection.... It worked since the last year but today the Bluetooth can't be connected and there's no way to reset the system on the DEH-4800bt 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Please restart your phone. This will often resolve the issue. Turn the phone all the way off and back on. Try to connect to the in-dash receiver again. If this does not resolve the issue I recommend a few simple steps. First: Delete all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory. You can see it here: czcams.com/video/FrUfO_ZqZIo/video.html Next, delete the in-dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth Memory. Next, restart the phone and in-dash receiver.
