Personally I didn’t like the Sims 3 version of Ms. Crumblebottom because she basically went from a special Npc to a bitter old default townie. I felt like there was nothing special about her.
I didnt know the crumplebottoms were related to the Goths but I did know that the sims 4 has NO LORE WHATSOEVER compared to the previous sims games. I've now watched a few of these history videos- I think the Alto one is my favorite so far. You do a great job making complicated things seem easy lol

I'm definitely creating Crumplebottom family! I'm gonna make a brother for her plus nephews (twins) and she can be favorite aunt! I'm also making her YA and giving her life back!
Goths are in base game and Agatha and Agnes are not, it would be impossible to add them to a family tree, especially since Cottage Living came out years later after base game.
Alternate timeline doesn't really mean the others don't matter lol although I understand the disappointment. I would think the other timeline still exists and happened we're just taking a break from it
Now there's another chapter to the Crumplebottom story in The Sims 4. Roberto Crinkletop, the Mysterious Rancher you can sell Nectar to for elevated prices, is Robert Crumplebottom, who left Agnes and faked his death. This is confirmed as canon by a video posted on the Sims Twitter in August.

I love playing with the sims 3 agnes, sometimes while playing another tonwie, she gets in a lesbian relationship (slay queen agnes) But when I play her, I love moving her in with her sister.. taking care of mortimer, meet a new man, getting married, moving out and have the children she wanted
In my game Agatha was actually the aunt to rahual the grocery boy and had no other family besides agnes and the nephew so idk who rahauls momma is but someone had a child in that family

It happened to one of my sims on a date, I didn't expect Agnes to go the extra mile and come to Oasis Springs to smack my sim, it was so nostalgic
I made Don flirt with her and watched as he got what was coming to him lol.

Sims3 is my favorite Agnes Crumblebottom. I guess because she was actually playable.

In the Actor career, there is a gig you can get that is called Growing Up Crumplebottom.
Fun fact: in german they are called "Knautschgesicht", meaning having a crumpled face rather than having a crumbled bum

agnes is the original crumplebottom, so robert took her last name
