    Yes, onewind that's how a hammock should be, I'll be all about that with my Christmas money😂

  • @bannister-lifeoutdoors8004

    Dan , the extra width in a hammock is a must for a diagonal lay so your flatter . This looks good 👍🏻

    hammok camping is the only way to go for a great nights rest, i have been using a ENO double nest with a thermarest slacker net system so i can let my dog sleep in the botton under the hammok ... i'm a fat guy so we build up whooppie slings from 3/16 amsteel, i'm 230 and my 100lb pit bull sleeps in the hammok with me from time to time

    The net was a bit too much because you tightened the ridgeline. It’s made where it’s not going to rip with the ridgeline at max length- which the only way to make the concept possible.
    Although this seems somewhat more practical and does save weight, you can not leave the net at home in wintertime so it will weigh on you when not in use. Also, mosquitos might get you from the underside unless you use a pad or underquilt. I think a separate net might be superior for those reason. What do you guys think?

  • @paulclarke7991

    Is it big for a diagonal iay ?? As in not lying straight but across the hammock??don't know just a thought mucka 😁👍 LOVE WHAT YOU DO MATE 😁👍

    I haven't slept in a tent since I got my hammock! This one is a bit too expensive for me and also a bit big.

      @jessicabasurto9485 Před rokem

      Which one do you use instead?

    • @MetallicrealitE
      @MetallicrealitE Před rokem

      @@jessicabasurto9485 I got an unbranded one with a fixed hoop bug net off ebay a few yrs ago then a couple of yrs ago i got an unbranded one with a net held up with an inner ridge line like this one as it packed smaller but tbh the one with the hoops is better as it keeps the net well away from your face. Im pretty sure they are about 9ft long, I'm 5ft8 and they are perfect length for me. If you had to to you could open out the bunched ends and peg down the hooped one like a bivvy like that fancy one DD do.

  • @BoltonMaverickoutdoors

    But I have paid more for a hennesey hammock which is extremely uncomfortable

  • @joepublic573
    @joepublic573 Před 2 lety

    £70. not bad - try to sort that amount of material and cost it. It ain't cheap. so, more expensive that other ones (dd etc) but not extortionate by any stretch. just my 2c.

    • @clivenewton7609
      @clivenewton7609 Před 2 lety

      The extra material is because it’s a diagonal lay hammock, the DD are for ‘banana lay’
