Cine film taken during 1982 showing trains on the East Coast Main Line, from the old sidings at High Dyke a Class 47 heading south, Class 46 going north and HST's on express services. At Grantham Station a Class 37 passes south with a freight train & HST's at speed and Class 31 31189 seen in the sidings, HST power 43057 departing with a train for King's Cross.
Final part of this film show HST's & Class 47's filmed between Frinkley Lane and Barkston South Junction.

The HST set seen around the 1:00 mark had a missing 1st Class coach. I wonder if it was it as NE-SW set under test or an ECML set with less 1st Class searing than normal.

Can only imagine how much the equipment to take this footage cost in 1982 🤔
