Wooden Bed Design // Low Cost, High Profit // Build this Platform Bed Frame

- In this video, I make a platform bed frame with a $150 worth of wood. The design is simple yet super efficient. Slats absorb body movement, maximize support and promote mattress life. Open slats keep your mattress cool and prevents the buildup of dirt and moisture. The platform design provides up to 7 inches of valuable under-bed storage space too! We bought a mattress in a box and installed in the video as bonus footage. This build is fantastic for beginner woodworkers.

All that cost $150? How? Where are you buying your wood?
Awesome! Looking forward to the plans.
This was excellent and very entertaining. Thanks. I need to build a bed.
Excellent job
Great Work...👌 👍 👌
Fantastic, Donnie! Beautiful work! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you 🙏🏻 you’re the best!
very good
🛏Loves it!
You’re the best!
Nice bed frame.
Thank you James. I had a lot of fun making it
Awesome build! Do you have a build video for that equally awesome headboard?
Beautiful work as always bro! Glad to see another video! I saw you said you downsized shops, are you still in the Destin area?
Can you do a video on building a full size Montessori floor bed with slats ? The pocket holes are intimidating.
Great video and I found it just in time. Are you still planning on plans? Thanks.
Did you make the headboard? Looks nice
Have you finished these plans yet? I dont see them on the link.
Gorgeous. Can I just buy this from you???😂
I am not a woodworker. Too old to learn or try too.
May I ask what did you use to seal it? Thanks if advance!
Have you uploaded the plans yet? I’m not seeing it on your website to buy.
I couldn’t find a video for the headboard have you posted that yet
Where is the plan for this build.
What happened to your big workshop? Nice build as usual. I’d think you’d make a floating bed.
You used a substantial amount of wood compared to what's sold online, and that makes yours far more sturdy. Those retailers get their wood in larger orders for a lower price, yet they sell their platform beds for 10x what yours cost for supplies. Retailers sell crappy thin slats.
If I weren't living in an apartment I'd have made my own also. Growing up I helped my grandpa with a lot of his projects.
I live in an apartment as well and will build my own, don't get discouraged, it'll be fun
That’s sexy bro! I love the hardware. I did a bunk bed recent. Short video coming up.
Did you ever end up making the plans for this bed frame? I mean I seems fairly straight forward, just curious if there is something i can't see.
What stain did you use?
Great build! Did you ever do the plans for this one? I don't see the plans for this on your DIY PLANS link in the description. Also, do you have a link or specific info on the hardware you use? Thanks!

How do you like your Delta Cruzer miter saw? I'm thinking about getting one, only concern is the dust collection ability.
Hey 👋 so… to be honest, I love my dear Cruzer. It’s a huge space safer because of the folding arm attachment and cuts true but the dust collection is HORRIBLE. But to be fair, I’ve had the following miter saws and ALL have been terrible with dust control. Ridgid, Delta, Dewalt, Ryobi, Craftsman… The only “I think” may actually work with dust collection is the Kapex by festool but I haven’t tried it.
Do you have the plans for this bed?
Can u please up load the dimensions you made for this project
🎉🎉❤
