- This video is of my unboxing and first impressions of the Trayvax Contour wallet. I end the video sharing my thoughts after using the wallet for about a week. Hint: I absolutely love it! The wallet itself has features that instantly propel it to the top of my all-time list, while the Made in the USA company has a mission that is well worth my hard earned dollars!

@@austinbailey5322 The price definitely hurts. You could also consider their offerings in material other than titanium for a lower price, or I see them come up lightly used from time to time. I justified it by focusing on the supporting a US company and workers… not sure if that would have been enough to convince my wife! ;)
Just got the "Unholy" version, and it is a massive improvement over the trusty 'ol tri-fold wallet I've used forever. I love the rugged, yet sophisticated look. It is quite small and feels great in the pocket. It isn't inexpensive, but it is a high quality product and I love that it is manufactured by a small American company. A person really only needs one wallet, but I am so impressed that I find myself wanting to try out their ascent model.
I just purchased the trayvax element , I couldn’t decide whether to get the tabacco grain , or the black leather one, so I got both !!
I may just add this one to my collection ! I am a tomboy to the max, so I don’t carry a purse , and loved this brand , and that it’s made in the USA 🇺🇸!!!! Thank you for the great review !
I received the brass tobacco last week, and the videos and pictures you see out there do not make it justice, it is a gorgeous wallet.
After watching your video, I went ahead and bought another one in titanium. Yep it’s that good

Had the original trayvax wallet for roughly 10 years til the strap started falling apart being as I couldn’t find replacement straps I decided to pick up the contour despite the price I have no problem giving a company such as trayvax that amount of money can’t wait

After trying tons of "fancy" wallets, I always went back to the flowfold vanguard. It's the best. Got one with custom colors, done with anything else. Unless someone makes one with the exact same design but in leather.

Looks great... but the price... ugh... I had a hard enough time spending the money on a Ridge...
I hear you. How do you like your Ridge? Depending on the condition and model, you could potentially flip it to partially fund the Trayvax, or even look for a used Contour in good shape! If you find one with good plates (and they should mostly be given the material), you can buy replacement leather for $20 and have a new-ish wallet even if bought used!
Did it come with a summit wallet?

the comment about the wallet not scratching your cards is not correct. in fact, this is the fatal flaw of this wallet. it will destroy the top card so pack your load out accordingly.

The top card will be scratched horribly. Gotta put a dummie card on top to take the punishment.
This wallet looks cool, but I do not think it is practical because oil, grease, grit, metal shavings, sand, and even pocket lint will soon get all over the cards inside (especially those delicate as hell gold chipsets on the cards today) making them useless in the retails machines that always seem to malfunction when I slide my card into them at gas stations, or at any retail store nowadays. We the mechanics of the world need a bulletproof minimalist wallet that ensures the 'man-glitter' we are covered in daily does not wreck our cards.
Been carrying this since ‘22. Zero issues and I work in oilfield environments. Don’t overthink it.
