- My first unboxing and review video! I wanted to point some things out that I haven't heard mentioned in other reviews, but overall I really like the wallet. Trayvax is also a great company with a positive mission, so they deserve all due credit.
My Contour is 4 years old now, and the stitching is still solid, no fraying whatsoever.

Actually this is a great review very informative. I have my second one coming this weekend. The first one I gave away unfortunately. I have the brass one coming as well but in tobacco. Great video again. I also have the Element I have had in my possession for about 3 years thats a great wallet as well. The contour is just classy.
Brass and steel grey leather looks awesome! I think its the best combo! Its 183.99 right now though everything cost so much more these days but this wallet is worth saving up for!

How's the brass finish? I mean , on thing it's the last 65 years an other thing is if they keep good looking having good presentation...
I really like it. It's definitely not as shiny anymore, especially on the ring loop. But if I buffed it with a cleaning cloth it would probably brighten right up.

how are your cards? I seen some reviews that they get damaged
Most of my cards are 100% ok, but I keep my driver's license on top. I do that to make it visible when I need to show ID, and so I'm not sliding card chips against the metal frame. I've had zero issues with my daily use card. Oddly I have one card from a specific bank that I've had to replace twice now, but I keep that one in the middle of the stack and rarely use it, so I think it's a fault of the bank and not the wallet.

Thoughts on the Brass vs. Stainless?
Can't speak for anyone else but I just received my brass Contour it came out of the box tarnished. But brass will do that. So as long as you know that you will have to clean it from time to time or if you like the tarnished look this should not be a problem.
I think it comes down to what color leather you like, because you see the leather much more than the metal. I knew I wanted grey leather, and I personally like the contrast of the brass against the black metal top plate. Even one month later with the brass taking on a duller, more muted color I still like it. If you wanted to go with the tobacco brown leather the raw stainless might be a better combination.
@@baldjj I have the stainless steel screws coming in I think that will give it another look as well.
