This is the raid that took the entire destiny community in destiny 2. Kings Fall released again after 7 years and with that time in mind, it's nothing short of a masterpiece again! This will go over the entire worlds first race starting with the opening encounter the Hall of Souls with the ball dunks. Then onto the The Crux and Portico which is the ship jumping puzzle full of skips and chests to collect. Then onto Basilica, better known as totems which changed a lot. Warpriest and its challenge struggles! Golgoroth and the massive nice changes! Transept or the wall of trolling with the bball court of oryx and the touch of malice catalyst! Threshold or daughters of oryx or sisters had a lot change, and Oryx the taken king made me love this raid all over again. Anyways, here is the remaster!

It can’t be even compared with LW and Wrath in many ways. Defo not the best, but it id enjoyable now!

I cant judge Wrath because I only did it once.

Killing Oryx in 2015 felt amazing and gave me the best experience. Now slaying the Taken King in 2022 and getting touch of malice first try gave me that same feeling. I thank bungo for making this raid

I wish that there was a post-raid mission, where you go explore the dreadnought/raid zones to re-gather parts of Touch of Malice and then Eris would rebuild it… instead of it being a random drop.
It wouldn’t make sense continuity wise because KF and VOG in d2 still take place during d1
@@johanruiz6661 I mean it could, imagine you go to the moon and talk to Eris, she notes that with the Dreadnought being in view once again she asked whatever happened to Oryx's heart in Touch of Malice she made all those years ago... Only for her to realize it was destroyed in the red war with the old tower. She feels disturbed by the thought Oryx's heart is Mia, so she then requests you go to the old tower and wander the courtyard for it only to find a shard of it. You take it back and she's now concerned, so she tells you that Oryx could be being revived by Savathún's brood on the Dreadnought and to go investigate and stop them if they're there. You complete Court of Oryx and are teleported, not to the jump puzzle, but to Oryx's old throne room from KF campaign finale, with a shade of Oryx revived from his heart and instead of Oryx's shade as we know it, its a hybrid between raid Oryx and Shade/Campaign fights and you eventually take down the shade, however the heart is drained from its original taken essence.
You take it to Eris who makes the Touch as a relic originally since it doesn't have it's full power, you instead regain the full power via a sacrifice, *New mission, Kill the Shade of Siblings bond* it'd be a special mission where it's a 2v1 with Oryx and Savathún both fighting you one after another like the Bond Brothers strike in D1. Ending in you ripping both their darkness essence out and recharging the touch with taken malicious essence, to bring touch of Malice to full power.

I’m glad they fixed the wrongs of this raid. It is finally good and enjoyable. Although I do feel like the stand on a plate mechanics will forever haunt this raid, the only reason it isn’t top 3 ever is bc of plates :(

Important note for golgaroth ‘corrupted light’ debuff is that you can stand next to the totem and you will deal damage.
Also you enter a throne room from the back and go to the throne that is in the front and center of the room.

We ran out of time on our day one experience, which we knew going into it that was going to happen. About 7 hours in half our team had to bail. But we finished all the way up to normal oryx. Which felt good.
My team wasn't worried about the race. We just wanted the unique emblem. Glad we got it and people still commend it. :D
These will always be the best destiny videos. Byf may be the in-universe lore daddy but NOBODY covers the game's/community's history like Evan. This is fantastic background noise for the start of my shift 👍🏻

I hope we get an age of triumph in D2 either as a full year expansion or a supped up season like the 30th anniversary hopefully bringing back favorited D1 armor ornaments, unsunsetting early D2 raids, and maybe having past season specific armor ornaments available again (I say this cause I think season of dawn had the best armor ornaments of any season so far)

sadly had some things come up for me as soon as my team got to warpriest really wanted that feeling of completing a day one raid hopefully with light fall i get that experience the feeling and atmosphere of day ones are incredible and im sure i found my reason on why i love destiny so much as a game
The intro started and I heard the rising wind or string instrument, I thought middle child by J cole was gonna start playing. Also, elysium is the new best day one raid team. Redeem may have got three, but elysium has gotten three in a row.

My god, I just finished doing this raid like a couple of minutes ago with my mates, and I was able to recall how to do some mechanics thanks to your video! Absolutely amazing video, especially since I am barely getting into D2 and barely finished my first two raids (Deep Stone Crypt and King's Fall) today, this game aint perfect but man I am in love with it 😅

I found something out for anyone if they want to do this during Oryx encounter in the raid but if you have one person with Burning Maul and you get the Taken Dome attack and the person with Burning Maul gets placed in their first.... have them pop their super with their heavy slam after Oryx slams and that causes the shade Oryx to be stunned

Something I love about raids how there is always 2 encounters before the boss that one is a dps check and the other a mechanic check that if you can’t do you won’t kill the final boss.
My call out for that last room is definitely the same as yours because i do the same in deepstone and i feel it is easy and works but i have friends who do it the opposite way since they say the back is technically the front of the ship and that is how it was done in d1 according to them
I always loved this raid since I first ran it and when I heard it was coming back I was very excited
I'm still so bummed....we were up all 24 hours and we had Oryx down to like 1hp on challenge on our best attempt....we were that damn close

I’ll never forget jumping in the raid blind back in Destiny 1. Kings fall truly was an amazing experience back in the day and it still feels just as fresh and amazing in Destiny 2.
I got the 24 hour completion with a team of 3 experienced players and 3 players with only about 6-7 raids between the three of them It took us 20 hours but it was so worth it, I love those guys

My team uses the same call outs from DSC charges from Chaos descent room going 1-2-3-4 going left to right from Oryx back to the door. Has made it so much easier for us to do both fights!!

I was watching the raid stream while I was working on my car and had to finish it a day later because of how distracted I was by that magnificent suit
Elysium can be best described as rising from death to achieve victory. I was watching the co-stream when Elysium won, and with how tense the entire thing was and all the ups and downs we were experiencing... Watching them come from nowhere once again to claim victory was a spectacle to behold.
A new king has risen.
Funny how when you watch all the other streamers you can figure out the challenge in 2 seconds

I had a regular team back in D1 and we’d run Kings Fall on all 3 characters every weekend, I know this raid like the back of my hand and I absolutely love it

I think Crota was the original “Final Stand”. Technically he never had any mechanics for it but when he reached 15%hp he would enrage and continually summon the oversoul until you wiped or killer him.
Just use far and back for room callouts, it always works and people won’t argue with you, whether it be plates or oracles
God this raid looks so fun. I've been wanting to play it but being in College has made that quite a task.

My team had big problems with the Warpreast Challenge, it whipped us even when the Tim between picking up and swap was at 2-3 sec. and we all live in the same country; hopefully something like that doesn’t happen next day-one 🙏🏻
Exactly. Having grabbed an aura then having it just say nope 1 second after you picked it up. It was really dumb.
